Is the SP path Echelar used in his vid optimal? Or is there a better path? If anyone knows, could they PM me? I think I might FC this soon.

So ummm, fingering for the G RB YB, are people using

1 24 34

or

1 13 23

I always mess up the transition from G to RB, but usually get the YB. Dunno if others are having this problem, either way, any advice is appreciated.

Timing is the same as all the other chord bunches...same rhythm and everything, it's just a hard finger pattern to just run into right after those super-stretches.

To me, that part is a real relief since I can pause my fingers after the G O YB sequence. Thought, it may be my finger technique that I use at that place that may explain that.

The trick is to use your index and your middle finger only. Just use these two, and slide when making the chords, so it should go like this:

G RY GR
1 12 12

Really? I just think it's easier to go 1 23 12...but that's just me, it's hard to at first to keep your middle finger down when switching chords...but I just find it a lot easier.

I should be posting an FC video of this with my SP.

Anybody have a good SP path for this yet?

I went in totally oblivious to SP and hit every note I possibly could and came out with 75th place. I know my route could be much better. Combined with hitting more notes in certain places, I know I can definetly bust out over 50th place.

I believe the optimal SP path is a 2-3-2 as shown below. If you have trouble keeping a combo in the trills, you can start the first activation a little earlier to include more of the G-G-G-G-GYB part.

Sweet. Thanks. This should help.

Yeah, I figured to use the first two SP pretty early, though I often activated it as early as possible to avoid the trills that I just can't keep a very long combo on. I'll improve, though. >=O

Move the first activation to the next 3 note chord GRY, and it should be optimal

I don't think so, you are losing 4 notes before the activation by sliding it to the GRY (a 3-chord and a note) and picking up only 3 at the end of the activation (assuming you squeeze in the former activation - if you don't squeeze, the two are equivalent).

...and how about assuming I don't have the patience to perfect squeezing? >_>

I'm really not high enough ranked to start worrying about that increasing my score at all.
