Anyone have tips on hitting the short sustains on the chorus? I have troubles hitting the ending notes on each sustain. |

you mean the off beat single/chord thing....what i've learned is that it's similar to doing the it normally, just starting slightly offbeat |

I can't get those for shit either. I'm having an insanely tough time getting even a 4* on this song because I can't keep a multiplier going through that.
The GRG chords are just fine for me, I've got them no problem, but the single sustain notes with notes on the end are incredibly tough for me to get. |

You can hit that with the exact same timing as the G-GR chords. So, worst case scenario, you bomb the first time, hit the G-GR chords, and use that timing for the rest of the notes after the sustains.
It's much easier if you alternate strum too. Because then you only have to strum down to hit the first sustain, flick it up to hit the short note, and strum down for the next sustain. (It's the only part of the song I can consistently hit, so you can actually trust my advice on this one.) _________________

I was wondering if anyone has advice on hitting the OBRYRG section at the end of the solo. I have hit them all maybe 2 or 3 times but I want to have the ability to get it much more often.
I was thinking about maybe trying to use POs on that section, I tend to strum to quickly =/ I'm going to try strumming on the O and the Y and pull off the rest. I can FC the rest of the song now nearly every time. This solo is makin me angry. |

practice strumming it, play the tune in your head and then strum with each note...if you know what I mean, i can't really help you with the frets cause what works for me might not work for you... |

If you mean the part right after the G G R R Y Y O O. Just practice downstrumming on the first note of it, on the G and upstrumming on the GR and if you have to, practice strumming with the controller unplugged. The rhythm is something like this (this is a very rough interpretation) "Duh-Do Duh-Do Duh-Do" Just practice practice practice. If you need to, download the VGS player, and play along. |

I just concentrate on the red notes. I strum right before the red, which hits the green note. Then I strum right after to hit the GR chord. _________________
