How does this work? (Seems bad SP, but I can't find any better path  )

I was curious about this too, thanks for drawing it out. Your 2 activations in place of GameZelda's 3 are worth approximately 6 notes less.
2 activations = roughly 6990 pre-multiplier (hold pts estimated)
3 activations = roughly 7302 pre-multiplier (hold pts estimated)
It's close, but still worth it to activate instantly after that RB SP phrase, doing 4-1-2-2-2.

I can't get this path to work. I've activated ASAP after I got the first 4 phrases, but it always over-runs then next SP phrase.

It's tough...I about killed myself getting this activation. You need to:
a) Hit the last note of the 4th phrase a little early
b) Hit select/tilt right away ASAP
c) Hit the RB hold a little late.
It's rough...but doable.

I actually got the activation first try.
