Here I go again....what is that a Whitesnake tune? Anyway another unsolicited tweak 9 monthes out of date. But at least this one is for 7 notes and not 0.5 notes.

I assumed Kov's path was the way to go and I could be wrong/didn't check for more recent vids/maybe no one's FC'ed it yet/that's the hard part/etc

+7 note path 2(1)-2-3-3-2

1st act. the same (you can disregard the "I suck at HO/PO comment meant for slowhand only)
2nd act good to go
Get 3 whammy what you need only act. on next note
Get 3 act. on first B note (even gets a squeeze oboy)
Last act. good to go.

Gets both the megenote dohickeys and if I counted right is about 7 more notes. Useless info for me but someone might find it handy.

Slowhand...Sloooowwhaaaand...OK, just kidding, I'm not stalking you. Really.

Anyway, path looks good, and to answer your question on SP #3, it's activated in the correct spot. Delaying the activation until the last note works on Hard but on X there are 6 notes per beat in that SP phrase as opposed to the 4 notes per beat in the later chords.

2(1)-2-3(1)-2-2 should be the correct way. I just counted 3 times, and came up with the same results each time.

Edited: Barba are smart, I forgot that the second solo's points compared to the third solo's are huge on expert, unlike on hard. Chart fix'd. Click here for the non FC path though.

Of course, it's better to move the second to last activation up to measure 74 if you can hit that solo...

fwiw, i activated over solo 3 (tried to make it run out right before the 2nd to last sp; after the YBY) for my fc run because i was only trying to practice solo 2, didn't plan on fc'ing it. i got 230.9k, which is like 2.5~ under ideal, so you don't lose *that* much for delaying the activation and going over solo 3.
