now that we've already gone head to head on this song krimsunmunkeys, want to share your method of star power usage? _________________

Sure, why not.
This is all going by head, but this is what I remember. You may have to fix some of this. I'l use measure numbers for reference, assuming you have the VGS Player to check.
Measure 10:
A series of BO chords have star power, I believe. Get this.
Measure 14:
Transition to chorus: a red then a blue hold, don't whammy.
Measure 16:
A run up the fret board has SP. Get it, then use it right away. You have very small window to use this.
Measure 22:
A series of red notes has SP. Your previous SP should run out as you hit the first note. If you don't get the SP, your timing is off.
Measure 26:
Another transition to chorus: red and blue hold. Once again, don't whammy. Use right before the next green note.
Measure 31:
Start of Solo: Like before, your SP should run out just as you begin the section.
?Measure 32:
I believe there is an orange hold and a yellow hold, with SP. You may whammy these.
This is a part you may wish to calculate for perfection: Use your SP in the solo so that it ends before the GR chord hold at the end.
Measure 39:
The aforementioned GR chord hold SP. Whammy it.
Measure 45:
Y,B,Y hold. Whammy it.
Once again, you may want to calculate this perfectly: use sometime during the R hold so that it ends before the next SP. I forgot where that is.
There is more SP in the song, but I forgot where it all is. Wait until the last soloistic line in the song before using the SP. The bar should be 3/4 full. |

I've found that that last SP is basically useless. Here's my SP path:

I haven't FC'd yet so I'm not sure if it's the best....it did bring my score up about 25k though
EDIT: DO NOT USE THIS PATH!!! _________________

here's my strategy (I do use the last SP):

red box means don't whammy.
It was good enough for 1st for a long time until b3nz0r beat it. I suspect I didn't execute it 100% as written, but I'm not actually very good at FC-ing this song so I haven't had a chance to test that theory. |

if you hit the long yellow star note early enough, you can squeeze the 3rd green hold of the part after it and still get the last RB chord. _________________

To follow-up since my last post.
I finally got the FC a few days ago putting me into 10th place overall. _________________

By including the green note at the beginning of the second to last activation, as ES suggested, I ended up 16 pts short of b3nz0r's score, so I think this is probably the same path he used.
Getting that green note was actually pretty easy this time...I wonder if somebody could get the blue right before it as well... |

You can. I've done it several times in my million attempts to FC the song.
But unfortunately I missed a few chords when I did FC it and I don't have the patience to keep trying it. _________________

I'm pretty sure I went for it when I got that 1st place score...maybe you got something else I didn't? Or maybe I missed it and it's still out there. _________________

yeah, I've gotten it now too, but not with a FC. I'm confused though, it didn't seem to put me any higher. I could be chasing after something I already got. That will suck. |
