Have fun being overcharged for content I'm gonna hack in for free. |
Then stop complaining about how you PS2 owners don't have the content. |
Exactly! Thank you.
You PS2 guys know GH4 definitely won't be for the PS2, right? I'm shocked GH3 was frankly. By spring 08, the last-gen systems will be dead. _________________

Great choice of DLCs to start us off with. Now I just need to go to Gamestop and buy some Xbox Live points. |

WHAT. That is so cheap.....*sigh*. Why couldn't they just have put the boss battles on the PS2 version..*cries*
Also, anyone saying we shouldn't be complaining about this, if they were going to do something like this where 2 consoles are basically told to fuck off is just fucking rude. They should have put the damn boss battles originally in the PS2 and Wii versions. Fuck you Neversoft. I thought you'd handled this well until now. /rant. _________________

It's pretty sad how fickle the Guitar Hero user-base is.
Holy shit.
Neversoft:"Hey guys, remember those boss songs that you couldn't play outside of boss battles? You remember, you were pissed? Well, here you go. We love you guys."
Poor person:"OMG WTF U SHUD OF PUT IT IN TEH GAEM U FUKKIN PRIKS."

I've been thinking about it, and Neversoft seems to be trying to fix this game up quite a bit. First they add co-op quickplay offline through a patcg, now the boss battles can be played outside of battle mode. Maybe they'll add online co-op career. _________________

*Some Stats*
that little bitty black line is the number of PS3 systems in the market, that green line at 7 million is the 360. Do that math. I don't know why anybody would want to buy a PS3, it's game library is laughable, it has almost zero exclusive content and the six-axis doesn't even rumble. |
I don't give a shit about a console sales stat... they made a whole freakin game for ps3, so that little stat of yours obviously doesnt hold much weight in that regard.
All I'm saying is that it doesn't cost a lot to make chart and post it in an online store... no matter how many systems the 360 has sold it still doesn't give them reason to ignore psn all together.
btw don't even try to get me started on laughable game libraries... 360 doesn't even hold a torch to a lot of the games on PS3... quality over quantity my friend... I'll take my Ratchet over Halo 3 any day.
But off-topicness aside I'm sure they won't make the very first dlc exclusive to 360, so we dont't have a problem, and nothing to argue about. |

I can't hax it, so I'm pissed. You shouldn't have to pay play something which should have been in the game originally. _________________

I just said this exact thing in another thread.
I'm going to give Neversoft one shot.. they get the benefit of the doubt here. The boss battles will be free. I have faith in them. Come on, don't let me down. _________________

They'll probably charge for it, and you'll either not buy it or buy it because it'll be cool. Charging for stuff already on the disc is not new, I do believe Dead Rising and Beautiful Katamari have already done it. It sucks, it really does. |

no DWDTG ft-EPIC-l |
Agreed. On behalf of PS2 users everywhere, I hope y'all have to pay $10 a pop for the boss battles.

At least for Devil..., I can see them actually having to do a little tweaking to make the battle playable as a standard song.
Among other things, they need to:
Connect the two 'parts' of the song together
Decide where they want that connection to take place (doesn't the official soundtrack have the "Death Drain" sound as part of the melody?)
Correct the Star Power sections (we don't really need 2-note SP sections in Medium in a real song)
Add the standard interaction with the normal band. (Singer lip-syncing, etc.)
Definitely not as complex as designing a song from scratch, but nowhere near as simple as using the code as-is.
And no doubt enough work to justify (in their minds) them charging the 'market standard' $6.25 for the three of 'em. |

The Pretender is an awesome song, I'll pick all these up when they become available. Hopefully the boss battles are free, but I would pay to be able to take DWDTG in practice mode. Maybe then I could actually beat the game. |
