I use 2-2-2-2-3-2-2-3. If you can pull any sort of streak during the crazy fast part then 2-2-2-2-3-3-2-2 is probably better.

Optimal Path (I'm pretty sure. ) :

2- 2nd yellow note
3- 2nd blue note
3- Next note
3- Instantly
3- 1st blue note
2- 1st GY chord
2- 7th YO chord

I use basically the same thing, but I don't activate on the solo because I'm not a freak who can FC it :P

To start, I also go 2-3-3-3. Then mine changes.

From there, I go:

2 - next note (next chord would get more points, but i dont risk missing for it)
3 - 1st G note in m235
2 - same as JPrez's

I'm pretty sure this is the best path if you can't FC solo A, which is almost all of us.

Here's what I got. I didn't account for sustained whammies : \ so I'm not really sure about the 2nd and 3rd activations, but whatever, thought I'd post this anyway.

2 next note (yours is probably right because, again, I didn't count for sustained whammies so this is a rough estimate)
2 6th yellow
4 next note
3 next note
3 solo
2 green after 3rd RB (runs over measure 240, giving you an extra 50 points)
2 7th YO

I just beat this song for the first time the other day. Only got 83% haha and played it probably 100 times before that, but it shows me I'm getting better.

5-starring this song really has nothing to do with fast solo A as long as you can get through it without using SP. It's all about the strumming bridges before the solo.

Yeah, the darkness riff is what makes or breaks this song. I got a 1000+ NS (I think, it was a while ago), and then sucked miserably at the darkness riff and solos, and pulled a 4 star.

It wasn't until I managed to finally hit most of the darkness riff did I get the five star.

I wish I could hit the darkness riffs and solo better. I have to save up all my SP to get through fast solo A, afaik (haven't tried without SP). Thus I lose a ton of points from a possible 5*. Anyone have a path that's easier to read than the one already posted? If there are six hittable SP's between the sixth and the riff, I'll use SP earlier and maybe get that 5*.
