So, how are you supposed to get those Uber Squeezes on the third and 4th activations?

My best score is 280502, and debr says optimal is 281034- but wouldn't you still be able to get the ticks? You obviously can't change the first 2 activations, so I guess that's just wrong.

Anyways:

2- IMMEDIATLY
3- GR Chord but squeeze some ticks off the O sustain
3- First Chord go to Uber Squeeze 2nd YB
2- First note of third SP phrase until GY or G if your good.

I think optimal is 281102-06

Thank you, I got 2nd place with this path, no easy-expert.

How many points do you actually lose without squeezing?

Without squeezing, you lose:

Nothing in the first activation.
A few ticks off the ass end of the O hold of m36 in the second activation.
A chord in the each of the last 2 activations.

Thus, not squeezing would cost you a bit over 800 points compared to the regular squeeze path. Relative to the super-optimal, double-squeeze path, you would have lost 2 chords in the 3rd activation and a chord and note in the last activation (in addition to ticks in the second activation), for a deficit of over 1400 points from the upper bound score.

Negitory.

My miracle run of this awhile back (this isnt my league score) was 280174. I'm pretty damn sure i didnt squeeze at all, and thats only about 900 points from upper-bound.

Ok, since you're so confident about it, tell me which one of my statements was wrong.

Also notice that the difference between the double squeeze path and the regular squeeze path is about 600 points, which is roughly the difference between debr's 80% squeeze and 100% squeeze, so you can tell at what point the program is picking up the double squeezes. This means the 80% squeeze score (280478) is roughly what you should get with decent execution of the regular squeeze path (and this is consistent with the top scores on the PS2, 360, and Wii). How you got almost exactly a note and a half less than this score is beyond me, unless you dropped serious ticks somewhere.

Did you do the second activation way too early, get a bunch of that orange hold, and not get the single note at the end of the activation; then do the third activation a note too early or the fourth activation a note too late, perhaps?

Thanks Jph93 for path [if that was you who created it], I re FC-d this and got 143rd on my first try. I know 143 is terrible for going for first place, but it's only like 1k from 1st, so it's good enough for me, I can't squeeze everything.

On the third activation, why not just put it at the start of 72, instead of the last note? There's nothing to be gained by putting it that late, other than the "wow" factor of ending right before an SP phrase...plus, I find it easier to remember to squeeze on a downbeat, anyway.
