My Attempt At an Sp path, assuming you can hit all of the phrases.
Edit: I forgot to highlight one of the phrases of collecting sp, but it won't effect the path because that one requires you to get 5 and then activate.

What is the point of 5* in this song?

i have seen people with 89% and 799k to 5* this

but still we have 866k and 91% and not 5*

Since it asks for a star count they probably just entered 5 by accident. I was entering mostly 5* and got so used to entering 5s that I would do it even for our 4*s. So it's all a mistake, although it's hard to know the cutoff... maybe we should get barfo and Dr Sham to coop this song and find the cutoffs

Just looking at it, this is just a random path I came up with:

2: Measure 19 (Post Insanity I)
4: First note of Measure 77 (6 measures before SFA I, so that it ends on the chord)
2: Measure 110 (1 measure before the crazy part in Bridge 1)
2: Measure 136
4: Last (Lead) right before Grinding Scales 1
3: Immediate
2: Measure 258
2: Measure 282 (What The...!?)
2: Somewhere in Measure 322 (Not sure of the whammy, sorry)
4: Immediate

Not sure of the whammy amounts and the few activations in the solo, but I figured this was better than nothing... sorry for no pic, but I'm not good at that

I think the 5* cutoff is somewhere around 1,068,000 or somewhere in that area. My best friend and I came SO close to a million (998,667!) and that was only a 4* score.

Multiplayer cutoffs are undefined. There is no way in GH3 to define a certain amount of points as a cutoff, because for some reason there are other unknown variables that determine what rating you get.

As long as you're playing offline, you still have the ability to see your average multiplier. For a single-player 5*, you need a 2.8x average multiplier. For coop, you may end up getting a 4* even above the 2.8x threshold, which leads us to believe there are unknown variables affecting the 5* outcome.
