While we're dreaming- I'd love to have the option of long, thin images (like 400 x 20 or even wider) that only show one difficulty per game. |

Well, if you're going to be demanding, why not create something flash based for things like myspace. I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who use those other services. _________________

Yeah, I would be up for keeping them how they are now or adding the 2x2 option mostly, but I threw the 4x1 out there just in case someone might say "WTF dude, why not stack'em all?!?!?". I know that this probably will not end up happening, or will be on the very bottom of the priority list to say the least; however, I did think it was a fairly good idea to put into the mix.
As a side note to the "Only listing one chosen difficulty, instead of all four," that would be a lot more work than just what I am mentioning on the stacking options. If they were to add a 2x2 option only, then it would effectively create an issue of creating twice as many blank sig images that could be used in the sig image creation process, whereas allowing only a single difficulty (or 2 or 3) would create a need for at least 4 times the amount of the originals (not to mention the extra work of creating a cool design to allow for that usage first).
Hope that made sense... _________________

Unless you are good at proving cut-offs _________________

Well, it's not going to kill you to not have the sig, and you're contributing to the website. Which, unless I'm wrong, costs money.
If it IS going to kill you to not have the sig, then putting up a couple dollars is nothing. It really isn't. If it is, prove cutoffs and stop complaining. _________________

i just think it's a stupid idea that you have to either be good enough to prove cutoffs or pay a couple of people that have nothing else better to do, to be able to show off your best guitar hero scores! |

pretty insulting considering you want the ability to use the services of these people that have "nothing else better to do"
you can buy a shirt to get some contribution points also.
http://www.cafepress.com/scorehero/
that way you'll have something to show for it- and also become +5 cooler _________________

... except give you the liberty to even come to these forums and shoot your mouth off.
Nothing's stopping you from putting your own scores in your signature if you're really proud of them. You can easily duplicate the stat images with text in a sig.
As for donations, most folks donate because they WANT to donate. The stat images are a nice "thank you" gesture, but most people here look at the bigger picture. Some of us feel an obligation to donate simply because this is the preeminent site out there for Guitar Hero fanatics and we want to continue to see it grow and prosper. I'm insulted that you might actually be suggesting that I shoveled $300 at this site just to "show off my best scores." _________________
