I called my local Gamestop and they said they aren't having one on Feb 3rd. What's the best way for me to force them to have one?

I don't really mean force them, I mean: "How could I convince them to have a Tournament in my area?"

And I'm really serious about this, I would really like to play with someone near or above my level on this game, none of my friends are any good ;_;

For a serious answer, just be persistent. Talk to the manager. Find other people who are interested. Create a signature list to show the manager that these people are interested. This kind of persistence is what gets people to realize that they should do it.

DISCLAIMER: bomb != persistence... rather, bomb == arrest warrant and terrorism charges (for anyone out there who was actually considering it...)
