The Black River GH:M(X) FC #12 + Gemini X FC #46!

WOW! I love this song so I picked it for my rivalry and got the FC after only 10 minutes in practice mode for the bridge X and solo 2b and 2 in game runs. Easily my best FC in any game so far.

How's this for a random FC. I was just playing a few songs to increase my overall score while taking a break from homework and I FC'd this on the first run other than my sightread!! Just a quick look at the path and I FC'd both solos and had no trouble on the gallops.

HARD FC #200!!

After the last update, I told myself I wouldn't bump this thread until I had hit 200 Hard FC's. Well guess what. After being at 199 FC's since mid-November, I finally got around to playing hard again (after a long break of Rock Band 2 and random GHX sessions) a few days ago and started working on the songs I had left.
NotB was my first attempt and I got decently good at the solo but couldn't manage and FC in a real run after a few tries so I gave up. Then I went on to KoC, but the HO/POs and strumming in GH3 make me really angry really fast, so I quit that. Then I tried GH1 again, Texas Flood had a nice run where I had -4 I think and 240k-ish. GR2R I still can't comprehend the solo, so that left Fly On The Wall. I tried so many different ways to hit the trills at the end, strumming everything, HO/POing everything (it's possible), or a combination. Each way was inconsistent and I hit it and missed it about the same each way. Then yesterday morning I played it about 30 minutes before we were leaving to go to Seattle for overnight, I got the FC!! I was so happy to finally have this annoying song out of the way, but more importantly to have 200 FC's. I don't even remember how I hit the trills, just that I did. I had had maybe two or three runs (all before I started playing this song again a few days ago) where I missed somewhere stupid and FC'd the ending, but one the day before yesterday where I had a 477 note streak. I was so choked, I could feel my strumming start to slow down out of expectant relief and I missed the 3rd last chord. Oh well, it's all over now. Maybe I'll start working on NotB, FCP, and FoP now, or maybe some more expert.
(Funny coincidence, I got my GGaHT Hard FC, and 58/58 for RB1H, the morning before we were leaving to go to Hawaii. So if I ever need a tough FC, I'll just make sure to tell my parents to book a vacation!)

Wow, I never thought I could become this good of a squeezer. I tried for an hour last night and hit one of the double squeezes only once. Today I played it and on my third try I hit BOTH of them. I was shaking a lot since my run last night after I hit one of the double squeezes I overstrummed one of the SP sustains while I was whammying, so this time I was careful not to miss, but I lost a bunch of SP and missed ticks and the note on the last activation, but it was still good enough for an 8 star!

Haha thanks. The hardest one I have (which actually wasn't that hard) is probably Impulse. I love that song.

My most annoying one I got today and that was Black Magic Woman. Stupid Orange streak. Turns out I was strumming too fast.

NFMH is really easy, except for beginning and ending. I haven't been able to FC the ending yet (although I have yet to take it to practice mode). Also, good job on El Jeffe. I'm in the same situation as you (200k+ average on RB) but still haven't done it. It'll happen once I go back to GH3.

Thanks. It didn't actually take me very long to get Nothing For Me Here. Maybe 5 minutes to get that beginning part down and then 10ish to get the ending. Getting it all in one run was easy compared to some of my other FC's. I think I played it 6 times before I got the FC. I'm not too excited about my score though, but I have no intention of re-doing it now.

And it looks like I passed you again, peanutdonuts, although you're only like 20k away from me which isn't that hard to reach
