Hyperspeed Now Being Tracked By GuitarHero.Com

I can't find any need to play on hyperspeed with GH3. Coming from GH2 where hyperspeed is the most important thing I use, GH3 is like playing on hyperspeed in the first place.

p.s. Rock Band having no Hyperspeed (as far as I know) is one of the reasons I haven't bought it.

Music game without speed mods = SO MUCH less fun.

The only reason I haven't bought Rock Band is because I can't afford it. Sure, the lack of hyperspeed pisses me off (and it's about the only black mark on HMX that I have, they consider HS a cheat and Neversoft doesn't), I mean, scrolling gems is nothing like reading music from sheet to begin with, so how is the lack of HS "more true to playing real music"? Still, I can get used to it again, it's almost like playing GH1 with only fixed hopos in terms of the guitar (except for being able to extend an overdrive activation by hitting more overdrive notes).

Well your scores will still be up there, right? So what does it matter if it says you're using hyperspeed or not? Why would you want to hide the fact you're using hyperspeed? If it makes it easier for you then yes, it is a cheat.

Meh use it if you want. It all balances out. Better vision, but less time to register. Pretty even trade if you ask me. Show me someone beating TTFAF on HS 5 and call that a cheat, not a challenge.
