ok, so apparently not only was there no tournament today, but Livewire has also been closed down, for reasons I don't know (though I'm guessing it's monetary). Too bad but it would have been nice if they...you know...mentioned it on their website before I wasted my time going up there.

BTW, we, the Michigan GH-playing community should try to find a new place to schedule some tournaments because it was awesome to have a place like that. Maybe a Best Buy or something.

. Let Scorehero dominate all over, rather than me, Suitata, Excelon and MLafer all going to one store and killing each other. Playing Suitata almost equals an instant loss

Are there any Best Buys around here that still has GH2 up. I haven't seen it on display lately.

I know Westland and Novi don't have displays anymore..ever since the PS3 came out.

I wouldn't mind splitting up for the Gamestop tournament...but I don't even know of any Gamestops that are running it? Have you heard anything? I know the one on Wayne Rd in Westland isn't because their display got stolen.

i've started calling these Gamestops. A lot of them on the list are not holding a tournament. Here's the info I got so far...maybe somebody else can call some of the other ones and figure out some more info.

Taylor Burlington Square - holding tournament, at 10:30 AM
Ann Arbor Eisenhower Pkwy - holding tournament, 1:00 PM
Farmington Hills - not sure, call again later in the week
Ann Arbor Washtenaw Ave - yes, 3:00 pm
Novi Twelve Oaks Mall - yes, 1:00 pm
Ypsilanti, Roundtree Place - probably...they don't know when it will start

I think they are getting more details during their conference call on Monday afternoon. At least thats according to the store on Haggerty.

JUST tried the Burton, MI Gamestop ((810)-743-8123) ...they WERE going to have it..but no, they just had to have their disk break...I'm trying to get them to borrow mine for the tournement...
