Ugh, this is so confusing! I have no idea how to get to the qb files, and all the stuff the links bring me to are all .exe files, which show up as random gibberish. How do i get to the qb files? Does it have anything to do with putting the GH3 disc in my computer? Because when I do, the computer just spits it back out.

Tell me how far you got on this list of steps:

1. Install Guitar Hero 3 on a windows computer.

2. Collect the mp3 and .chart files for your song.

3. Edit the setlists using Songlist_Editor on your PC.

4. Extract the QB files onto your desktop using my extractor. (Your Windows desktop)

5. Copy the qb files, and songname files onto a usb stick.

6. Put the songname files into their appropriate folders on your mac.

7. Put the qb files into songlist switcher folder.

8. Shred.

What step did you get to? This infromation would be very helpful.

Hmmmmm.
Do I need to just have the game(s) that I want the charts for, or do I need to be able to have custom songs working also, if I just want to play 80's and 2?

The way this works, is you rip the discs using FOF or GHex, and that will dump into a list of folders like such /Guitar Hero 2/Strutter/Music and chart files.

Then you can import that into my tutorial on how to do custom songs on the mac, and generate the qb files. I added you on MSN during the scrabble tourney, and I'll be on starting around 12 Noon GMT.

The no-cd crack obviously didn't work. Sorry to break it to you. It has nothing to do with my program.

how did you generate the qb files?

which pc program did you use?

Did you place both the qb.pab and the qb.pak files into their correct folder?

did you make backups of your qb files?

Basically, if you could just write a detailed explanation of how you used my songlist switcher, I can help you.

What quits? My program or GH3?

Does it say "Unexpectedly quit"?
