By the looks of the way he charted it in the OP, he plays the first few notes one handed and then brings up the other tapping hand.

HA, I need technique advice on tight ascending scales, such as the one in PP(LL), and Bad Reputation Solo D(?). Ive heard to treat it sorta like a trill, but I simply don't get it. I would appreciate any advice from the master himself.

I have a technique for that, which I call "2 Finger Slide." No, not really, but I do that. For BR, try this fingering.

21121121121221121121121 2 After you slide back down to the red, strum, just in case the HOPO is affected by sliding. This is just one way to do scales if 3 or 4 fingers is not working for you.

directshot999: You should play it like . Get those middle and ring fingers moving.

12311213 11213123 1232 1232 4

FretsOnFireGh2: I may accidentally hit extra notes before the , but I strum the green anyway, so any sliding errors mean nothing.

It's quite simple actually. With songs that have fast 8th or 16ths, I count in 4s (12341234), and make sure every 1 is a downstrum. With songs that have triplets, I count in 6s (123456123456), and make sure every 1 is a downstrum also.

I bring my arm up, since I never got into elbow strumming, and don't plan on doing so.

There are 2 possible ways I see to do Mosh 1.

43214321

OR

The way I do Flood! is much different than what other people do, since I believe other people elbow strum it. Here's my fingering. (Note: My old Flood! video, has a completely different fingering than what I used most recently, which is like 3-4 months ago.)

21212112343211212121213

2121212121211

12121212121212111234 3211 3

212121213

1212121212121212121212121

121212121

Skipping all the way up passed the slow trill.

13 121212121 21 23 121212121 21

121212121212121211

It's very difficult to pull this off, since your right hand needs to be dead on in a split second back and forth from strumming to tapping.

Check what I said to directshot999 on Page 2.

Do you do any warm-up songs to get the blood flowing?

And what would song would you say helps you increase finger-speed/trilling speed? I really suck at fast trills.

Learning to play Guitar Hero (any GH) with just 2 fingers is a good way to build up your middle finger for trills.

Good warm-up songs depend on your skill level. Choose songs with strumming and/or scales in them. Ex: Maybe do TLTB or LTMR.

HA, I know you're not a great fast strummer, but you can strum fast, and for a long time.

How do you work up your strum speeds, and especially enduring long sections?

Like Knights of Cydonia for example?

Strumming endurance is built up just from practicing songs with long fast strumming sections. Try playing Six, TWIE, Misirlou, and other fast picking songs very often, and overtime, you're strumming hand will build up endurance.
