Just a quick feature request. Could you add somewhere a link to either this forum thread or the userscripts.org page so I know when to update the script?
Thanks.
EDIT: I meant in the script, like under "Miscellaneous" |
Funny you mention that, TSorbera pointed me towards some site which allows you to write self-updating scripts. I'm planning on adding that before the next release (which, I know, should be right now). |
Sweet, Can't wait for that.
BTW, I literally LOLed at both your sig and The ThirdDay's CP title on the left. _________________

I was waiting until GH:SH was released.
I don't think I'll have the auto-update code ready, but the menu items should be simple enough to add. (I just don't have the time to test auto-updating cross-platform, so it's not worth trying it out; maybe when I'm not so pressed for time.) |

I'm probably a little late on downloading this, but good job on the script, very useful _________________

I'm glad I just found this too! Will the website revamp be a little more similar to this? _________________

Alright, big update time. Added all the latest games.
I added one other cool features, though just for Firefox users (since I don't have time/will to test the code out on Opera or Safari): auto-notification of updates. Now when I release a new version you should be notified of this fact within a day, sometime when you're visiting ScoreHero. ("Should" being the important word; not sure how well the code I got works, but I figure it's worth a shot.) If it works for FF users I'll see if I can't get it to work for Opera/Safari users next time. |

just installed it. One question, how exactly would we get notified? Like a box popping up on the screen telling us or what? _________________

Honestly, I have no idea. <_<
I'm trying out the tool provided by Monkey Updater: http://www.monkeyupdater.com/
It's not entirely clear to me how it works, and the code he provides is minified (and I didn't really care to figure out how it works). So I guess we'll just find out when the next version is released! |

I simulated an update. You can see an image of it here: http://idunnolol.com/files/images/scorehero/gmupdate.png
It seems to break the menus, but ONLY when it pops up that message... so whatever. :P You should be upgrading at that point anyways! |

I just ran a test of the auto-update system and it looks like it worked. I hope you guys like it, I certainly think it'll be a lot easier than having to check on this thread every once in a while.
For those who don't know, I added GHWT PC.
For those who didn't get an auto-update, I'm looking into how well this code works on Safari and Opera. |

In case this was not already posted, this works for Safari 4 (OSX). _________________

Since rkcr is no longing doing this. Can someone pick this up and update it if possible? |

If nobody experienced comes forward in the next couple of days, I'll give it a go. I'm only learning though. _________________

That would be cool. I, for one, would appreciate the effort, since I have absolutely no clue about this. It would be nice to have GH5 support, though. Good luck if you decide to give it a try. |
