Guys, i have a hypothetical question, just to be sure...

What if i've got this cousin right, well, he's not really my cousin, twice removed or something, and me and him have these identical ipods right, and he has all the same songs on his as i have on mine, which we all bought legally off of iTunes, and also we own all the same CDs and wear identical shirts and are both missing our left incisor tooth due to identical freak football injuries that we both got in 9th grade, and also we kind of have the same haircut but not really - well like, what if hypothetically he like, travels to moscow, and he buys a russian mail-order type bride from this shady mobster dude right, but he doesn't have any russian money so he pays him entirely in blank DVDs? (long story) and so like he comes back to america then with the woman but then he finds out she actually has a wang and so he's like "wtf man" and calls the dude and says he wants to know about their return policy, and at first they're totally going to swap back and just call it even but then the mobster realizes some of his cronies have already used all of the DVDs to burn Guitar Hero custom disks and he's like "oh shit" but then he just decides to go ahead and swap back anyway without telling my cousin, so he mails the girl back or whatever and then the russians send him this huge crate full of custom guitar hero disks, and he realizes what they are and is like "awesome" and so he mails me a couple of them in a little manila envelope thing, and I don't know what I'm getting cause it's like my birthday next week and he's like "man, it's a surprise, just wait, you'll love it" and so I go to my mailbox and take out this package and open it up, but then RIGHT AT THAT EXACT MOMENT Kaiser and Nick happen to be driving by my house, and it's kind of a warm day so they have the windows down and the music going all lowridin' and shit, and right as they turn the corner Kaiser glances out and sees me as I accidentally fumble the pack a little and a bunch of the DVDs fall out, and they're marked "GUITAR HERO CUSTOMS" in bright Cyrillic letters so I don't know what they are, but Kaiser just finished a course on conversational Russian and so he's like HOLY FUCK NICK PULL OVER CRIME IS AFOOT! STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM and he bursts out of the car and catches me red-handed with all these DVDs on the ground

well what im asking is if a bunch of the disks are too scratched up from being used by russian mobsters to scrape lines of coke to be played and so the only remaining ones happen to be entirely composed of songs me and my cousin have on our ipods, will i still get banned?

just hypothetically guys, i don't want to do this accidentally, just checking

The context of which he puts this simply implies he was doing this stuff for no good, good job he's gone, I don't see why people would actually do this... Oh well, some will never learn, but as long as you're here, they'll need to worry...

Good job on smiting the pirate. Now let's all get back to the entirely legal things the rest of us do with our days.

Right?

For all those asking about mailing the discs:

It still contains copyrighted material. I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't matter how much of it you owned, because if you're mailing illegal things, it becomes a federal offense. If they catch wind of it, federal, butt-sexing prison. BUTT-SEXING.

Of course, I might be wrong. But I don't think I am.

And then we will colonize the sun and make little communities. Because if we can put a man on the moon, then obviously we can do this.

Good job catching these parasites. One question though: how do you catch one? If a gh .iso is uploaded on a site, do you assume its a SH member doing it? What if user names don't match up?

Our methods can not be disclosed for obvious reasons, however I assure you they are discrete and accurate. impact didn't see it coming.

IP address's im pretty sure. Good job though, I can admit to download a few torrents from piratebay to get a few small programs, but NOTHING like this. I would want to support harmonix, activision, neversoft, and wavegroup with all the money i have

Hypothetically, the next person who posts anything that has any type of futuristic anticipation connotation will be systematically beaten with 600 tons of wet noodles.

I could see myself, some day, wanting to perhaps see that amazing feat, soon... hypothetically.
