S9 - All GH - Expert League Thread

Decent enough week for me I guess. Not as good as my other leagues, but still not bad.

Farewell Myth: Got the same score twice, so I figure that's a good time to start before my ear start bleeding

. still not as bad as Red Lottery, though.

Trippin': Beat my old score by two ticks, but still missed that HOPO squeeze. Oh well.

Play With Me: Got a lucky run where I hit a decent amount of solo a under sp and then FCed solo e and the outro, both under sp. Everything in between those two section, though, were absolute crap.

Metal Heavy Lady: I have no idea what the fuck my problem is with this song. That first squeeze doesn't even look that hard but I just can't get it. Maybe my whammy bar is fucked up because I just can't get it. Missed my high score by a good 28 points, which is huge in a squeezefest.

This week went... okay, I guess. No idea how people whammy so well on GH3 - my MHL score was kinda lame, but I FCed Farewell Myth and made some good progress on PWM (it didn't happen in a real run, but I can FC all of Chorus 5 now so yay). Good to see I'm also not the only one who hates that HOPO squeeze in Trippin'.

Wow, I did not expect to get first for this week (thanks for not playing a whole lot Matt

). Very happy with 7th overall despite not submitting scores for week 3 and only submitting two for week 2. Definitely looking forward to the playoffs. Best of look to everyone!

Holy crap I can't believe I jumped into 2nd place overall. I guess thats due to no scores from Matt this round though.

Also...........my Play With Me was 2nd place? REALLY!? The run I ended up submitting was a pissed off run cause I botched the descending scales at the end under SP for the 4th time on good runs where I FC'd A and B. My best is like 293 but hell, can't complain about the results.

Look forward to the playoffs guys =p

horray for making the top 10 in Div 2 even after having a horrible week 3. The playoffs are going to be a struggle for me to enter scores for because right now im in the Philippines right now...but i will definately try my hardest to get a score in for the song this week.

Phew, managed to keep my first place after round 4. Although I'm kinda sad that I got bye, because SCO'M is one of my strong songs. Well, see you all division 2 play-off people in the next round.

Regarding round 4, despite me being late to posting and stuff, etc., i don't care, whatever....

Farewell Myth: I got really lucky with this, FC'd 2nd try (1st being to learn how to hit everything reliably), didn't want to play it any further.

Trippin': It was already a GH2X league song before, so did one run and managed a squeeze better. Can't complain about that, eh?

Play With Me: what. how the hell did I get 1st place on that? I was doing horrible that day! FFS that was 27k off of my top! ¯\(°_o)/¯

Metal Heavy Lady: Hated grinding it, missed squeezes repeatedly and finally managed to not plink or fuck up an activation on my only FC. I whammied the phrase that I wasn't supposed to whammy very many times, was not happy. I placed a LOT higher than I thought I would.

I'm so glad I somehow managed a bye on this playoff round, I don't have time to play any of the songs anyway!

Edit: Now that round 2 has been posted, what the hell does this mean?

well, good luck samson, although you really don't need it I don't think, I can't squeeze for crap in GH3 and I didn't even get the FC, just 100%, so any type of FC and you got this.
