The solo occasionally, but mostly the ending. Apart from that one FC run, the few times I did hit the ending, I'd already missed in the solo, just couldn't seem to do both sections in one run.

OK, I'm definitely starting to feel the peer-pressure now ;)
There seem to be quite a few moving up from Hard to Expert, and I have passed all but 6 of Expert, so maybe we could get some decent "not all that good at Expert yet" competition going - but at the same time, I'd also tend to agree with BigE, I still find Hard more fun than Expert at the moment.
Hmm ... <wanders off to ponder> |

I'll even wish Insane luck, but don't think I'm gonna go easy on you.
Though this round should be real good. I like COY, and am consistant on it. But it frustrates me because it's one of those I've hit every part of it before (even FC'd the entire intro- which is the hardest part- like 4 times) , just never in one run; nor have I really had any run where I didn't both like, a dozen+ notes. This is definitely a challenging song, but a fun one.
I'll certainly put my best foot forward. _________________

Its just a well I lost in the first round ,
Crazy on You would have been my undoing anyway.
Best of luck to the remaining four.
Congrats, on beating Freebird BigE. I actually just
beat the song myself about 3 days ago. Im just now
really starting to put some effort into my Expert scores.
It definitely is way way harder. I still need to beat
Six, I know Jordan ain't gonna happen, EVER!
Im gonna try my hand at League A, next go around. It
seems a lot of people in B are gonna do the same. As long
as I don't end up last place I'll be happy enough. _________________

I'm gonna be skipping next season...mostly due to a lack of time with my current schedule. I'm trying to land a transfer to another facility at the moment, and if that goes through I'll be quite a bit better off.
I'll be back for season 4 hopefully. I'll also be moving up to A league.
And congrats on tackling X-Free Bird BigE! I remember finally pulling that off on New Years Eve (after bombing the only attempt I made at a friend's party) and earning that damned Axe. I haven't been able to pass it since, though. _________________

I've been putting more effort into clearing expert myself in the last couple of weeks. I'm *still* stuck on Freya so I don't see me moving up just yet, unless I finally get a decent run in and clear it.
I like CoY. It really is a fun song to play. I have to agree Ash, the intro is the hardest part. I'm still hoping to put a decent score up :P |

I'm also liking Crazy on You this time around...last season I outright sucked at it (and it took me forever to figure out the intro). Didn't play it that much this morning, but the intro is actually almost easy now - except that one place with GY-GY-GY---GY---GY-GY-G-GY-G-G-G-GY - that almost always seems to screw me up. At least it's not very far into the song.
I seemed to be on a roll this morning on other songs...finally 5-starred Six which brings my 5-star total on Hard to 64 at last. Also managed to FC 4 songs (in a row): Yes We Can, X-Stream, Soy Bomb, and Search and Destroy. For some reason, Tattooed Love Boys (which my best is -1) and Heart-Shaped Box (also -1) still elude me... _________________

That part doesn't bother me. It's the GB---GBGB that gets me. The only damn part of the song that doesn't have THREE chords there. I can even remind myself it's coming and still ghost strum that third GB chord. |

I always screw up on the same part as Dragondarch. I can hit the rest of the song. |

i smell defeat in the air. I cant seem to put it all together on this song, and i consistently miss the star power that goes ryb ryb r ryb ryb. which really sucks. but it was fun while it lasted i guess. |

My score is in. I had one good run this afternoon, and haven't been able to even come close since. Best of luck Roddy. This'll probably be close. _________________

Just for fun, I tried the song once when it was first announced. I was well off my best, so it's safe to say that I would've gone out this round anyway. Good luck to everyone still left. _________________

Well, looks like it's just RiseOfAsh, myself, and Gemini remaining.
I kinda suprised myself with the -3 run I managed on Crazy on You...next best I had was a good 40,000 points off. Still wish I had FC'd the bitch...stupid easy notes
Well fought Insane and Roddy.
Best of luck to us both, Ash. I think we'll both need it for this round. _________________
