Yeah, this is very true. While making no other technical improvements whatsoever, the "man, maybe I should actually figure out a non-sucky SP path for this song" decision can net tens of thousands of points. |
Do you guys in the upper echelons of rockdom look your paths up on the site or do you try to figure them out yourselves? I have yet to look one up. It would be like looking up the solution to a puzzle game.CloudFuel wrote: | Squeezing... bah... when you can fc six then I'll be impressed.
With that said... me and 5*ng SIX.... hmm aint happened yet... and we've got just over 24 hours to go... so I'm thinking you're gonna take the cake lorok. Though I'm gonna want a small piece. |
I still haven't got mine either, but I'm still close. I'm not sure I want to play that song anymore though. I'll prolly give it a couple runs tomorrow, but otherwise I'm done with it. And mi caka es su caka... no I meant cake, my cake is your cake. _________________

Yea for me it's like running a 25k marathon and collapsing 15 feet from the finish line.. I'm close enough to see it.. but that's about it |

I do them myself than check the ones posted to see if I missed anything big. They usually end up EXACTLY the same though. _________________

I always look them up first because I'm horrid at SP paths. I know there have been several times in the league when I tried making my own and it cost me a lot of points. |

I take optimal SP paths and adjust them according to my own ability. |

I've got a very solid run in. I'd keep playing, but my roommate just came home with a Wii, and I'm pretty sure he's going to be dominating the TV for the rest of the day.
Score submitted. Best of luck to everyone. |

Assuming a "very solid run" is what I think it is, you should have me. I bought GH1 yesterday so I didn't play Six at all yesterday and I doubt I'll play much today since I feel like I capped off my score. |

Alright submitting, good luck JayHL. I'm curious to know what your very solid run score was now, have to wait more than 7 hours though |

That's ok, mine wasn't a 5* either, but I stopped caring when I realized my arm had turned purple. After I went upstairs to catch it (it really got wily) I had to wash it off in a chemical-burn center as it showed me some pictures of it and some unmentionable parts of a few "ladies of the night." Oh well. _________________
