Well I give up. I'm submitting score now. I feel ya on that e-maxer. My best run was an 8/9 star power.....then I played it a dozen more times cause I was pissed then I gave up. Wouldn't that be some shit if we tied...haha

Rant time!

Misirlou is a piece of shit in this game. I love the song otherwise, but in this game it just pisses me off. Is it because I suck at it? Partially. But mainly because the techniques needed are useless in the rest of the game. On no other song are you required to do the gay ass, so fast it broke my strum bar (other reason i'm irate now) double strumming. It's just a damn gimmick song with fast strumming, much like Jordan's gimmick is an overly difficult solo. Just my luck that I can play any song in the game well other than this gimmicky POS and it got picked for the playoffs.

Congrats on a near free trip to the finals, Detuned! Even if by some act of God I win, I have to go to my strapless, broken case old SG...

Yeah, I feel you. But my score isn't that great either so we'll see.

Also I got a PM from rabies after I submitted that said the score wasn't due until tomorrow night (Sunday morning 3AM)

Ok guys, apparantly _I_ was wrong when I told detuned he had until tonight..upon reading jav's post, you guys were right in having your scores in. Sorry for the misinfo detuned. Bracket info has been updated.

It was a VERY close battle between twizm15 and entropymaxer..but twizm manages to squeek by with a little more than 1 chord under SP. Very nice battle guys.

While detuned expressed interest in trying for a higher score today, I realized it was moot as his score had already beaten a frustrated smokyprogg who had been on fire until this song came up (and I concur with your feelings on this song smoky....I hate it).

Grats to the two finalists. YOu guys also get to play Six for your final song. Good luck to you both.

Nice scores in the other bracket you guys. 20k over my best.

Sorry it came down a bad song smoky, but I guess that's part of the playoffs.

But it comes back around...Six is the only song I haven't 5 starred yet, and while Misirlou hurts my hand after about 10 or so playings...I'm pretty much spent after one verse of Six.

Good job twizm...it all comes down to this.

I guess I should get used to losing since I'm probably goin up to AAA next season.

EDIT: Even though I'm not in the finals, this inspired me to FINALLY get my Six score over 300k.

well smokey wins 3rd, cuz I have played six a lot in the past couple weeks improved by like 90k, but still couldnt break 200k. I coulndt have even won any of the expert A divisions with my score on six. And I also have a really bad Wii hangover right now so I wont be playgin guitar hero for a couple days.

Thanx detuned...my arms feel like shit now after playing six tonight. I was too busy this weekend to play so tonight was the only night I had to try and put a decent run together. Not pleased at all but I cant continue killing my tired arms or my SG(specially after playing misirlou non-stop). Good Luck. If only I had another day to play.
