yeah these songs are really easy. So far the only dlc i've payed for is ernten was wir saen and the classic rock track pack. Both were totally worth the money even though im rubbish at the ewws and any way you want it solos if neversoft released the WTFIHASARTHRITIS Pack, I'd so buy it, just cuz crazy impossible songs are super fun ^_^

I downloaded them. I've never been a big fan, but these songs were okay. I am kinda surprised at these songs... they would have worked very well in Rock Band. Still, I find these fun to play, in a way. Violet Hill is a nice warm up for the Motorhead pack, Stockholm Syndrome, or something similar.

It's publicity, Viva La Vida is probably going to be the biggest album of the summer, so releasing songs via GH is just another way to advertise the album. Coldplay is one of my favorite bands but I agree with most of you, their music just isn't great for Guitar Hero. Are Coldplay legends of rock? not now, I think they will be someday, but they are great songs that just don't belong on guitar hero

possibly because their new cd just came out?

anyway, I'm a HUGE Coldplay fan, but still, I think the charts are boring. Not the way the were charted, just Jonny Buckland isn't exactly Slash.

Coldplay songs aren't meant for Guitar Hero- only Rock Band if anything.

i made a thread a while back that said i was dissapointed with the direction Neversoft is taking The GH series. Harmonix has continued to be the better company in this genre (See GH1,2,80's then Rock Band)

I play GH3 for the "Haloness" of the game. Ultra Competitive and challenging. Rock Band, co-op.

I feel like GH is making a fatal move by watering down the challenge aspect with these track packs that Medium players could FC on Expert.

GH is slowing changing from being the leader of this genre to the follower. Im not buying another set of drums that are GH specific and taking up more space. Im not all that excited about needing to possibly shell out another 120 for a Game/Guitar Pack when the last guitars were faulty.

i dont know im just kinda let down with the direction this series is taking. GH isnt drums and singing and songs that make I love rock and roll seem challenging. Its Guitar Hero for a reason,

So... when are they going to announce this Thursday's pack? I'm still hoping that it's Iron Maiden.

Iron Maiden... Nah, we'll probably get a three pack with The Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana and another disney band called The Disney GH Pack.

Just Kidding. Iron Maiden would be cool, but I seriously doubt it, maybe another Modern Metal kind of pack with Protest the Hero or something.

I will beat myself in the face with my GH controller if that should ever happen.

Also, as far as Coldplay goes. I love 'em, but they could have chosen something better than "God Put a Smile on Your Face". Or even go better than Violet Hill. Both the charts for those songs kinda suck from what I seen on YouTube.

I think In My Place would have been a good choice, better than GPASUYF.

Does anyone know if there will be DLC tomorrow? I haven't seen any word on it other than the rumors that it'll be 3 Doors Down.

Might I remind you that RB Wii will not have any DLC but 5 songs from the DLC...
Back to the Coldplay DLC-
God Put on my face- The Intro was wrong with the triple chords but it was easy anyway...
But that song was boring too.
I'm not going into dicussion about all the songs but, I think it wasn't a good choice as DLC... alot of other bands could bring better DLC(Like mentioned above, Iron Maiden, Metallica(Even though we are proally gonna get it for GH:WT for GH:Metallica)and maybe some RHCP for their loss on putting SMK on GH...)
