There are two major problems that make those stats misleading.
1. The PS2 got the GH series first, before other consoles, so many (not all, mind you) of those users left are people who have just stuck to the console because they don't feel the need to buy additional guitars. This number will likely PLUMMET with World Tour considering the multiple instruments. If people want the whole set, why wouldn't they buy it for a newer system? (I realize that's not the case for everyone, but it's still a misleading stat)
2. The general core of Wii players are, indeed, casual gamers, who don't even know about ScoreHero (many of which may have never even touched Expert). That percentage you have does not come CLOSE to reflecting the Wii population of Guitar Hero.
3. (I know I said two problems, but here's a third.) You can't just pull up stats from one difficulty. Doesn't even begin to cover the demographic of ScoreHero, which is still probably about 1-2% of the ENTIRE Guitar Hero community. That's like taking a percent of a percent... |

I think there's a little overreaction. People seem to forget that in terms of features, the game that's really been shafting the Wii is Rock Band. I haven't seen anything yet for RB2 that indicates that DLC will be made available for Wii, or that they intend to add the World Tour or character creator for it. That's ultimately what's steering me away from Harmonix- love the game but they've decided that Wii isn't a major system, and isn't worthy of anything beyond a PS2 port.
I'm still hoping this is just an omission, and the Wii folks will have this as well. Vicarious Visions has already mentioned that GHWT for Wii will have the song creator, character customization, 8 player online play, DLC and the music studio. |

I'm still going to have to see some videos of this working, but if the positive feedback about Line 6 is any indication I'm really looking forward to it. Nice job; I'm looking forward to seeing what people can do with this.

All this really says is that Neversoft is using it on their versions of GHWT.
However, it should still say and Vicarious Visions for the Nintendo Wii and PS2.
I'm not going to take this as a literal NO, since it doesn't really mention it. However, I'm not convinced otherwise. |

I Took a shit once that was better then rockband wish i got a pic hahahaha
I have no Doubt in my Mind that this will be better then Rockband thats why i didnt get Rockband when it came out i knew that the GH series would take a turn down this road to beat there competition

Okay, so the Wii has a weak single-core processor, I still doubt an amplifier has more processing power than it.
Not that it matters to me as a european PS3 owner (no Rock Band ever apparently). I was going to buy this game anyway, and this just solidifies my purchase.

cool, line 6 is great and i own a pod my self.
i still don't think the create a song mode will be the funnest thing ever, but it might be fun if your trying to kill time or somthing. |
