Hi out there.

So here I am, sitting in a smal room in Falun, Sweden. I've been wanting too host a tournament here for some time now but I can't seem to find information regarding what rules RO have for hosting tournaments in their games.
Can I, for example, find sponsores? May I use the name GuitarHero on posters? Can I use pics from the game on a poster? May I even host a tournament without their approval?

I'd realy like these questions answered before I start planing for real. Thanks / Gikkman

You're in Sweeden. Do whatever you like, they'll never find you.

But seriously, as long as you are not making money off if it, they won't care. But if you want to be totally safe, contact GHOUL (guitar hero organized underground league):

So taking 3$/player too cover for the tournament won't upset them I guess.

Problem with GHOUL is they only cover america. And RO doesn't seem all to intressted in replying to my questions...

Don't worry about what they'll say. They are all for promoting Guitar Hero tournaments. I've run several tournaments. A few with their sponsorship, others without. Don't worry so much about that. Go ahead and get your own sponsors and have fun. If you need some rules to go by for running the tournament, look in the Official Tournament Rulings thread here in the tournaments forum.
