Okay, I just beat Cyrus, and am about to fight/capture Dialga. One problem, Cyrus knocked out all of my pokeman except my HM slave, Quagsire. I have no revives. Should I just masterball it? I really don't feel like running all the way back up mt. coronet.

I personally just used my Master Ball on it. Sure, there's other rare Pokemon in the game such as the new legendary trio, but those are all catchable without it anyway. To be honest, I don't even use Dialga, even though it's currently my strongest Pokemon. I just... don't like using legendary Pokemon. It feels kinda cheap, and I don't like most of the legendaries anyway. >_> Lugia is the only legendary I've ever felt comfortable using.

I don't know if you're particularly bothered about catching every single Pokemon, but it's not really necessary anyway, since the Pokedex and Professor Rowan only care about whether you've seen them or not. Still, if you do need to capture it, you'll probably just be better off using the Master Ball. You could always try trading another one into the game, or even use an Action Replay to get another one. :P Only other way is heading right back to the Pokemon Centre and ascending Mt. Coronet again. I had to do that three times in total, because I kept losing at the last minute against Cyrus and I didn't want to lose all of the experience points I was getting from Mars and Jupiter.

Oh, and Spades, yes I do. I always picked Mudkip, if only because Torchic looked plain weird and Treeko (or however you spell it >_>) was a Grass type Pokemon, which are plain crap, and always will be plain crap until they bring in another type for it to be super-effective against, along with major base stat boosts.

Out of all the "new" pokemon, I love Mudkip.

However, keeping in line with the old 150 pokemon my favorite has to be Oddish. He's just so damn cute.

I just caught Dialga with an ultra ball. I used Close combat with infernape, got him into the low red, and threw and ultra ball. Caught him.

(Guess I can save the masterball for Arceus )

Hey, everybody ignored my question! It's in the last post of page two, so that's probably why. :P

Oh, and I never used Lugia in battles against friends (who all used legendaries, and all continuously lost against me ). I just used it against the Elite Four sometimes, because it's the only one that isn't ridiculously overpowered and actually looks good. Do I still get a highfive?

There's also Pokemon such as Blissey. Anybody who uses a Blissey in a battle against me deserves a Focus Punch to the face. They're so damn annoying to beat down, and when you start to get anywhere, they simply use Softboiled and you're back at square one, only with less PP!

Really dude, everyone uses a Blissy. I suggest training one, or at least getting used to them, because you are gonna see them A LOT.

Blissey has got to be one of the cheapest pokemon in my opinion. Its HP is just too damn high. And softboiled is extremely annoying.

Blissy has the highest HP in the game, yes, but People EV train it all the way to hell and back. If you wanna defeat it, bring in a fighting pokemon who uses physical moves. Everything else is useless.

I like using a Blissey to catch the legendaries. It can stay in there, take a lot of their hits, paralyze them with Thunder Wave, and get their HP down low enough with Seismic Toss. This assumes they can't recover their HP.

I don't have a Blissey on either of my carts. I doubt I'll get another one anytime soon anyway; I tend to use different Pokemon every time I play.

Yes. [hf] highfive [/hf]

Never again will I use a grass type against Blissey.

Blissey + Flamethrower = ¯\(°_o)/¯
