Wow!!! This awesome news!!!

But I believe the best is yet to come

Only 50 songs are confirmed ( please correct me if I'm wrong ) leaving 35 to be announced!

And with all the rumors floating around this game might be the best yet!

Woah... Old music for a new age. Seems kind of logical with those older tracks... And to keep to the coined "all masters" rule, they'd have to.

GH:WT is shaping up real nice.

Well, I personally think there's too much new stuff, so all this is welcome. I'm a big fan of Motorhead.

JC no more news! We will not have anything to talk about next week!

But re-recordings is always a treat, especially when they are done specifically for these games which so far have all come out fantastic *cough*Cult of Personality*cough*

I'm actually feeling pretty hyped for GH:WT with all this (frequent) news. Too bad I don't have a 360 >_____>

Don't let the hype get you down bjw, stand proud as a Wii owner!

Although saying that, Metallica's full album DLC, opportunity to share songs, unique features as opposed to the PS2 and Wii, owning a 360 wouldn't be that bad actually >___>

Also, next person to do a 'nuff said' post can expect a handful of facepalms in their PM inbox.

As these announcements come and go, I really wish I wasn't waiting for Christmas for this one.

Pretty Vacant was rerecorded in the 'GH3/Skate session'. I'll bet its the same version from Skate. Activision will make 'news' of anything.

Just shy of the 40th anniversary of the seminal performance in October 1968 when “Kick Out the Jams” was originally recorded, founder and lead guitarist Wayne Kramer went back into the recording studio with original producer Bruce Botnick to re-record the track exclusively for Guitar Hero World Tour. Featuring the vocals recorded by Rob Tyner in 1968, Wayne Kramer was joined by friends Jerry Cantrell of Alice and Chains and Gilby Clark formerly of Guns ‘N’ Roses...

well there's only one thing to be said.

Re-recordings are nice as long as they don't end up like CoP. The song was fucking awesome to play, don't get me wrong, but when ever I hear that guitar solo...

Actually...my terminology in GH is that it doesn't matter how the song sounds as long as it's fun, so they can be like CoP then.

Cool. The re-recordings in GH3 were MUCH better than the orginals.

I don't know. I thought CoP was great, but I was very disappointed with the new Anarchy rerecording, especially with the vocals.

I hope Overkill will be as awesome as the original.
