damn you guys are going great! but i have a theory. It might have already been tried and failed, but i haven't heard of it yet. make notes in feedback (making PART_VOCALS) and then open the .mid in midi maestro and changing the part name to BAND_VOCALS. anyone wanna try it? i gotta go to school. Thanks

No. I have tried this method, but it is the equivalent of the Holy Wars chart. He doesnt move his mouth, he just goes up to the Mic.

well... it is a start right?
.:Edit:.
the auto chart editor has a function that says 'add vocals'. We could try add vocals to a .mid then change that to BAND_VOCALS.

Double Post... but

I think that after we make the singer move. We'll have to make a program that can do it easily (like songlist editor).

When we finish. I would probably be able to do a program to make the singer move.

sorry i didnt reply in the last 2 days , scorehero was down for me for some reason.

anyway , so far , not much progress , just managed to get more events (?) out of the VOC file.

But , the real problem , is not playing , but rather editing a .voc file.
everyone i find is only for dos apparently , so , if anyone can send me in the right direction of a hypervisor , please do.

Has anyone just tried dumping in a .voc file from one of the default songs into a custom? If his mouth starts moving then at least we're 100% positive that's the file we need.

A Hypervisor will let windows (xp , vista etc) to run Linux , DOS , or even MACosx.

It proving to be a real challenge to find even a totally unstable one , let alone a working one.

I tried it in GH2 (x360) and it worked fine , but obviously it was totally wrong for the song.

Oh, well i have heard that you can boot DOS from XP. you press F8 when you boot up your computer, go to OS select or something like that. If it isn't there then just have a look around.

*Sigh* Extract the voc and just put it in a custom. If the singer moves his mouth wrong you know that it works. You dont have to know.
