Welcome to Scorehero, in the future I recommend using rkcr's signature size checker to check your signature so you don't have to post.

The text in my signature keeps sticking out to the side, and I'm sure it's exceeding the rules, but I can't seem to fix it.

Can I be modded for this?

I fixed it to go just below. It's within the size limits now. Here's the new and old code for your sig:
Code:
<img src="http://mahsite.awardspace.com/sigtest.php?site=1" />
Various quotes from Gaia, IMs, XBL, real life and eventually SH. In these quotes, I appear as Sonic Offline, or a variant thereof.
Code:
<img src="http://mahsite.awardspace.com/sigtest.php?site=1" align="left" />

Various quotes from Gaia, IMs, XBL, real life and eventually SH. In these quotes, I appear as Sonic Offline, or a variant thereof.
The align="left" in your old code made it so that the text would default to going right next to the image, instead of below it. Leaving it to the default align makes the text be below it, so it fits now.

Can I get an answer please? I've been waiting for a little while now. Thanks!

Apologies, we should have answered this long ago.

It's perfectly okay to put a link to your personal forum or website in your signature. "Referral link" refers to sites in which you're trying to get people to click/sign up so that you can get points (e.g., prizerebel).

I just have a question, not that it really matters to me, I was just wondering. Why does BJWDestroyer get a 278 pixel tall signature?

I'm not really sure, but I'd say it's a problem with your monitor - bjw's sig looks exactly 800x170 pixels to me:

His signature isn't too tall, it's just that phpBB pads the signatures a little bit automatically.

Does this explain his Sheriff type badge below it? It seems like (it also seems like it was added recently) it stretches it to be too tall.

I don't know how to measure pixels, so I don't know how big it is. Maybe it's just me.

I'm on one of my school's computers now and it does move the badge to the next line on this smaller monitor. I'd say rkcr's explanation is the cause, phpBB is adding extra pixels around it which kicks that part to the next line (which seems to be Qarx's problem too).

Oh, ok. Yeah, it moves the Sheriff Badge to the next line. So is it my monitor or phpBB that's doing that?

It's very possible that your browser window is small enough that bjw's signature wraps. bjw's signature passes the test because, when given an 800px width to work with, the signature fits. If your browser is too small (less than ~1000 pixels wide) then you'll run into trouble.

That must have been it. I widened my browser and the image jumped to the side, where it belongs.

I'm not very computer-smart, do you mean like my resolution? Because that's 1024 x 768.
