|
|
PLEASE READ THE FIRST PARAGRAPH BEFORE POSTING
This is a Full Band Expert FC Breakdown for Guitar Hero: World Tour. If you know a song's overall difficulty then please post and I'll try and move it accordingly. I don't know every single song yet but I'm playing them all more and more. If you think you something needs to be moved, please state clearly what you are trying to say. "Ranked higher" will mean increasing rank, like going from 1 to 10. "Ranked lower" will mean decreasing rank, like going from 10 to 1. Please use this format when posting suggestions. An estimate of where it should be placed would be nice as well. Something like "about rank 20-30" would be a nice addition to all suggestions.
This list may include other DLC someday, but right now just worry about the main set list. Vocals will only be included by FC difficulty, not by 100% difficulty. I know NOTHING about vocals, so those are rarely included in my own personal FC difficulty ratings.
- What I've Done - Easy all around.
- Today - Quite easy on everything.
- About A Girl [Unplugged] - Slow song. Pretty easy on everything.
- Some Might Say - Slow-paced and pretty simple.
- Beautiful Disaster
- The Joker
- Monsoon
- Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast
- Hail To The Freaks
- Rebel Yell
- Lazy Eye - Pretty easy all around.

- Shiver
- Go Your Own Way
- American Woman - Many streaks of quick bass pedals.
- You're Gonna Say Yeah!
- Antisocial - Everything is pretty average in difficulty.
- Love Me Two Times
- No Sleep Til Brooklyn - Guitar solo is pretty difficult. Everything else is VERY easy.
- Obstacle 1
- Stillborn
- The Middle
- Vinternoll2
- Our Truth
- Are You Gonna Go My Way
- One Way or Another - Everything is fairly easy besides vocals.
- Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast) - Guitar is fairly easy. Many drum rolls to miss on.
- Kick Out the Jams
- Toy Boy
- Nuvole e Lenzuola
- Hotel California
- One Armed Scissor

- Do It Again - Simple drums.
- La Bamba - Somewhat difficult on all instruments. Fast strumming on guitar. Awkard hits on drums.
- Zakk Wylde Guitar Battle - Difficult guitar but fairly easy drums.
- Demolition Man (Live)
- Santeria
- Good God
- Prisoner of Society - Very fast-paced song.
- Stranglehold - Very long song that can be easy to mess-up on.

- Everlong - Somewhat easy on guitar and bass. Drums are very hard to combo the whole song.
- Never Too Late - Hard guitar and some difficult drum fills.
- Ted Nugent Guitar Battle - Somewhat easy on drums. Difficult guitar and bass.
- Soul Doubt - Very complex bass pedal.
- L'Via L'Viaquez - Very hard/awkward Latin drum beats. Vocals are very difficult as well as a pretty hard guitar solo.
- Crazy Train - Pretty difficult on all instruments
- Overkill - Very fast-paced song and very tiresome on drums.
- B.Y.O.B. - Very fast and off beat on all instruments.
- Vicarious - Extremely difficult on drums.

switch the first two imo. both are insanely easy on bass, iono about vocals or drums but i doubt either is that hard for either song, but NSTB on guitar is much more difficult than WID. |

No Sleep Till Brooklyn should be much lower because the guitar solo is relatively hard. There are many songs much easier all around. MANY songs |

This is true if we're talking about full expert bands. We are, right? You didn't specify. _________________

READ THIS PARAGRAPH BEFORE POSTING
This breakdown will take a LONG time to become fairly accurate as no one is already experienced on every song on every instrument. Right now this list will just have the super easy ones on top and the hard ones down below and then the rest in the middle. If you know a song's overall difficulty then please post and I'll try and move it accordingly. Should we include Guitar Battles? This list may include other DLC someday, but right now just worry about the main set list. Vocals will only be included by FC difficulty, not by 100% difficulty. I know NOTHING about vocals, so if a song is particularly easy/difficult to FC then let me know please. Sometimes I may also contain information such as "it's easy on drums". My ratings are only based on what I've heard while playing the songs and it may be inaccurate. If anything is incorrect then please let me know. If you think you something needs to be moved, please state clearly what you are trying to say. "It should go higher" doesn't cut it. "Ranked higher" will mean going from 1 to 10 and "Higher on the list" will mean 10 to 1. Please use this format when posting suggestions. You can say lower as well, just make sure you still say it correctly. |
That's why. How hard are we talking? 60 or so? _________________

Livin' On A Prayer should be higher up, because for guitar, the part at the end of the solo isn't easy to hit - I've missed it 20 times in a row (comparison: FCed Mountain Song on second playthrough)
Higher up meaning larger number. _________________

Mountain Song has an average difficulty solo that I somehow FCed without even expecting it :P I guess I should use that since I just FCed it on a random play... The triplet thing at the end of each bridge really screwed me over on my sightread, but I figured it out by the end of the song + a little help from hyperspeed on my second run through...
Eh, who really cares atm? We have to let this develop.... _________________

Changes have been made. I'm not really sure how far up and down these things should be when I move them. I just try and give it my best estimate. Hopefully as we go along the list will start to become more accurate than we realize.
When I see songs like Good God I still have absolutely NO clue what the song even sounds like or how hard it is. I would say that's the case with about 1/2 of the set list. That's where I need everyone elses help in making this. _________________

im glad some one finally got one of these started iv been stuck with 5 FC's and nowhere to go for a few days now:) but for me as an only child who can only play guitar and base, knowing the difficulty of the song as a whole band isnt much help
i think having 5 separate lists for each instrument and as a band would make life alot easier
also i think overkill should go up a few seeing as its on of 3 that i failed first try on guitar. |

Anyway to split up each song into four instruments and rank it from, say 0-50 and average the four to get the band rank?
Such as,
x.) No Sleep Till Brooklyn-g[35] b[5] d[10] v[0] Band[12.5]
y.) Satch Boogie- g[50] b[15] d[20] v[0] Band [21.25]
z.) Hot For Teacher- g[45] b[15] d[50] v[10] Band [30]
(of course that was just a quick example to give an understanding of what I'm talking about)
Or something like that, to help give a more accurate representation of how everyone on here will eventually rate these. _________________

I've been thinking about it, but first of all people's opinions vary a lot on that kind of stuff and people would probably flame this like crazy. Also, if we order them by average, a song like Mountain world be a harder FC than Satch Boogie. Does that sound right to you? I don't think so. I had thought of that idea but I think it's best to just write a little description of each song next to them and state why it is where it's at. _________________
