Okay, so if I was suspecting a user with false scores, should I report him/her even if I'm unsure? Or could this backfire at me if the useres scores turned out to be legimate? _________________

Great addition, I'll be sure to use this system and definitely not abuse it. |

That's what I was thinking too, I've seen some suspicious scores, but if they turn out to be true, would I be persecuted? _________________

I tried to use it to report my friend's scores (because he steals mine), and it said "Report Failed: Missing required user ID parameter for Guitar Hero score report." |

Absolutely not. The point of the system is to provide communication between the staff and the users. Granted, you should only be filed reports when you have good reason to do so, but as long as you're not filing reports idiotically ( say, reporting all of your own individual scores) there shouldn't be any problem.
Also, you can report the OP of a thread and state your report reason as something along the lines of you feel it should be locked. The system will automatically identify that the reported post is the OP of a thread and handle it accordingly.

Awesome guys! Now we don't have to go through all the copying, pasting, waiting for a mod to get on SH. We can just report it. Thanks guys! _________________

Just wondering...was any thought given to taking away the ability of certain users to use the reporting system if they abuse it, rather than outright banning of said user? Or would that have been too much of a strain on the system?
As far as I'm concerned, this is the next evolution of SH-Bot. Version 2, if you will. The way I see it, the use of SH-Bot version 1 was restricted to only those users on IRC, which was a very small subset of the userbase. Now, we all get to use it.
Very nicely done, nick. |

This is the single happiest moment of my life (SH-wise)
Now instead of handling false scores or users who are in front of me on the leaderboards by crying myself to sleep, I can report them... |

Cool beans, man. Doubt I'll use this much, but if I see something, I'll fill out a report... nice job, Nick. _________________
