I PM'd you an application, but I did so before reading the rest of the thread (really really bad, I know!)
In case there's any confusion, I'd like to be one of the people to review charts. I'm unclear as to whether or not you still need to know how good I am at making charts if I'm just going to be reviewing them though. Regardless, I linked you to a few charts of mine in the PM. Thanks! _________________

Fine....if you say so. It's not like I asked for a job before when they first began or anything. _________________

Will there be a feedback system for me, Joe the Player, to offer opinions on charts? So far it's sounded very staff-centric. I don't chart, but that shouldn't exclude me from feedback. |

I have sent elx a PM and I hope that I get a position. Also elx, I am also would love to be a charter. Are there any spots yet? Because if there is, I will be fully dedicated to charting on the weekends and days when I don't have school. I will also get my old charts on here and add Hard, Medium and Easy and fix sync if needed. _________________

As far as I know, this was quasi-planned by JCirri for the Custom Songs database, so anyone and everyone could rate, and maybe review, all of the public charts. Who knows if that's still in development.
I believe the whole point of going through this process is to find people that know what they are doing and know how to create something a professional would create. There would be no need for public feedback, ratings, or input if the reviewed chart is already perfect (with the exception of subjective event placement). Remarks of praise would also just clutter up the database and be slightly redundant as far as CustomHero is concerned.
If you have an issue or want to make a change to a release, the chart should be close enough to what you want so that you can make your own changes with very little effort. If you want to let an author know what you think of his/her charting style, you could post in his/her Custom Songs subforum thread or PM them. _________________

Hey elx, if you don't mind I am going to do two charts and give you both.
1. Artist: Black Label Society (not sure about mp3 because of DVD but I'll figure it out)
Song: In This River
Album: Live In Paris (DVD)
Purpose: This will be the challenging one. Very challenging to chart and play as it is live, but won't have that full well co-op chart feel. This song will show my competance at accuracy and challenge, but the co-op is too hard as it's live and sometimes what Zakk plays and the rhythm guitarist plays don't go well together or you simply can't hear the background.
2. Artist: Maybe Tomorrow (they are local and don't belong to anyone so I will supply the mp3)
Song: Like a Rolling Stone (Cover)
Album: Maybe Tomorrow
Purpose: This will be a mid-tier song and I hope to accomplish the nice co-op feel with this one. The acustic guitar and the lead fills really mesh together. It's also a great cover of a great song. I think this will be a keeper. _________________

How long is this going to be open for? I've got a lot on my plate right now with finals in school and moving out soon, but when the dust settles I'd definitely have time, and I'd love to be part of a place that puts the best of the best customs all in one spot. _________________

This is pretty much my stance as well, I'd love to be part of the crew but with loads of shit happening right now I wouldn't expect a lot from me any time soon. _________________

Quote: | Need to resolve a couple questions/misunderstandings quick. There is no fixed deadline or amount of slots that we are looking to fill. If we feel you are capable of a position, you will receive one. Also, there are no charter positions right now, only reviewer positions. However, the charting portion of the application is still needed for a reviewer position. |
