by the sounds of it your just typing the path name where the iso is?...wrong, im pretty sure you drag the iso into the blank space where it says game location.

example

working folder - F:\gh3 wii backup\the ghost final\temp\
game location - F:\gh3 wii backup\the ghost final\discs\acrility hero.iso

remember, you dont need to type that in! just drag the temp folder into the working folder part and drag the iso into the game location part.

I did drag it in, sorry if I worded it weird. And yes, the WiiScrubber.dll does exist, except it doesn't say the version number or anything under it like any of the others do.

EDIT: Wow. 3 pages already, lol.

The version number thing is normal.

I've got this fixed. Check the main post for the bug fix appearing by the download link...

If you can give me ~15 is minutes I can run some tests on a Vista machine of my own and see what error I can pull up.

Any way to fix the song skipping in the Notes Viewer? There's clipping all through the song, making it so far behind from the chart that trying to sync it is pointless.

Unless you didn't change the download link yet, it didn't work for me. I still get a WiiScrubber error.

What's the spec of your machine?

How much CPU is it using?

I could increast the audio buff length as a test I suppose.

Anyway, I'm done for the night now. I'll be back tomorrow. I hope the fixes work for you all. Byyeeee

I have a 2.6ghz AMD Athlon dual core processor and 2 gigs of RAM. TheGHOST.exe is only taking up 25mb of RAM, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I've never had this problem with anything before.

My ogg files are 160kbps mono, maybe I have the quality settings too high.

I've done a bit of searching, and reading, and it seems that as of now, TheGHOST will only run on WindowsXP, and will not work on Vista. If it works for you on vista, you are lucky and should run out right now and buy 10 lottery tickets. Side-by-Side is a service that allows multiple versions of the same program to run at the same time, and it seems that Vista is trying to launch 2 versions of the same program (WiiScrubber.dll) which are not different versions at all....thus a problem occurs. If you have XP use that. Vista is broken, and inferior to XP by nature.

Sorry friedmann. We'll get it working when we can.

I'm using Vista Premium (with UAC turned off) and it worked fine. The only hitch was that about 10 of the songs near the end couldn't fit on the disc (probably because a few of the bonus songs are shorter that others). I'm burning it right now.

As far as the song clipping goes, the converted audio does clip quite a bit when played from with the GHOST (even though it's not hogging the CPU), but the converted files themselves in the temp file play fine in other programs (must be a bug in the way the GHOST plays the files).

Also, personally I kept thinking that GHOST stood for Guitar Hero Original SoundTrack.

I don't understand how it works fine for people, but it doesn't work at all for me.

I get the same error while trying to Prep the iso. I drag the iso to the "ISO" box, then drag the "Temp" folder to the "Working Folder" box, and when i click Open. I get the same WiiScrubber.dll error as Friedmannnn.

I'm running Windows XP Pro with SP3.

That's how I felt back when they released the GUI method. I would never work for me. I had to stick to my original batch files until now.
