more pics on pages 2 and 3, also more if requested.

not much else to do until the pieces/guitar i ordered come in, so i'll use the meantime to field any questions you all might have. the model is somewhat similar to the LTD AX 260:

the headstock is custom made, due to piece limitations. i think the shape is pretty good for legos

That is so awesome! I would die for one. Are you going to turn it into a real controller, able to be played on?

Good job so far.

this will contain an SG on completion, and up to this point has taken maybe 4 hours total? it's really quite simple.

tutorial by the maker of the original lego guitar: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bluestarmedia/sets/72157602217981549/

as long as you have the pieces and a little lego knowledge, it's really just a weekend project.

btw, i ordered 5 SGs.

Does that mean we get to see five more LEGO masterpieces?

Also, can we has some So What? I'd love to see how NS would try to censor it. "I've this, I've that, I've even a school girl's."

If either of the above happens, I will eat the contents of a tea bag and post it on YouTube, quote me. >_>

i'm also getting a TAC V to replace the broken ps2 side of my double, then i'll probably put one SG in there, or make some kind of freaked up hybrid monster. 2 will remain unmodded for competitions and scores and stuff, and the other for parts or whatever. if i had more legos, i'd replicate my double neck.

That's one of the most impressive guitars I have ever seen. Will it be fully functional to actually play?

You bought 5 SGs? Have fun making the guitar.

He's putting a SG inside it, so I would assume it would work unless he's putting in a broken SG, and he said they were new so I doubt they would be broken.

I'm looking forward o the tac V because mine doesn't seem to work still after doing a hybrid

not pictured are 4 more SGs and a LP with brushed aluminum faceplate (on loan) also a mini acoustic i guess.

got the guts in, everything fit fairly well, and works. (261,344/96/428 on Holy Diver X) as soon as the additional legos i ordered come in it'll be done, altough that may be around new year's.

also, floating laptop
