I gave my crt back to goodwill like 2 years ago, but I'm itching to play again. And I just can't on a lcd. too much lag, and no calibration at all for gh1.
any ideas?

You're gonna have to hop onto ebay or amazon, no one makes CRTs anymore.

| I feel your pain.. I let my girlfriends mom donate their CRT i had been using and now I wish I had it back. Luckily my HDTV is close to no lag |

Cathode Ray Tube TVs are still quite useful as they are designed to last 25 to 30 years compared to 7 years life expectancy of flat screens.
However, because they hold an electrical charge a long time after being unplugged, they are not very safe to work on if you need to repair or restore them. But I am sure Pawn shops always have them.

I know I posted this thread a year ago but this forum is so dead that it's still on the first page of this subforum lol.
I have checked 9-10 goodwills/value villages in the past 2 weeks....no luck. I did find a 25" CRT today at a goodwill but when I plugged it in, there was no picture at all. Feels sad but I'm going to keep looking.

Feels bad....I had 2 little CRT's a few years back but I also gave them back to goodwill cuz I thought I was done with gh. But now I wanna play again....and i've never had good luck with gh1 on newer tv's. Maybe I could try gh2 tho |

Yeah I saw he had 1 post lol but he was talking and CRT's and not clearly advertising anything. Still kinda odd tho
edit: BUT i did check the craigslist "free" section for CRT's....and there are a bunch of them available for FREE. I feel like most of them won't work but maybe I could just grab like 3-4 free ones and pray to the GH gods  |
