can't load guitar hero 3 pc

well i have been playing guitar hero 3 but then i noticed some despixelating that i never noticed so i changed something in the detail resolution... i changed it to high
then it said i needed to restart the game so i closed it and tryed to open it again but then...

"Guitar Hero III stopped working"
nothing is loaded... just appears a black screen then disappears and shows the error message

ok so i opened the guitar hero 3 installer to repair but nothing...
then i uninstalled guitar hero 3 and reinstalled it... nothing... same error
uninstalled it again and reinstalled it again... nothing... same error
i have done this 6 times and still theres an error message

i'm getting tired of this... so if you guys knows how to solve it please let me know

p.s. i'm using Guitar Hero III 1.3 official patch so it lets me use GH3 with a IntelX3100 video card

Try going to C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Aspyr\Guitar Hero III\AspyrConfig.xml and change the Options.GraphicsQuality entry from 0 to 1. (this will undo the change from low to high)
