hmm.
if all you're doing is covering an image with more transparent images, shouldn't RB support be relatively easy to add?

or is there some other functionality i'm missing? |:
iunno about everyone else, but if ^ was the case i'd be perfectly happy with a RB path-program only (no estimated score or whatever) since it makes things 210984723097x easier

This. Having everything organized in one place and relatively idiot-proof is all we could ask for on the RB side of things.

Also, is there any particular reason the activation shading covers up the notes rather than being semi-transparent?

For everyone wondering. This is why RB and other (DS) charts won't work with PathHero yet:
http://pathhero.codemann8.com/rockband.php
...the images must be in a specific format, theres no way to recognize where the lines start and end with AJAX.
...as you could imagine this would take a long time to manually edit each image separately, I'll need to find a way to automate the process.

Another thing, I don't have my database set up for this yet. It would help if someone sent me a list, via PM, with the song names from RB1&2 in order of appearance in the game, don't include DLC at this point...please use this format...
<First>
<Second>

...I'm not caring about tier names at this point, but it's important to retain all capitalization and punctuation with this...if the order varies per instrument, note that.

I'm not sure what you mean, they are semi-transparent.

So codemann,

Are you making any progress on the rating system? By the way love your sit, as you can tell by all the paths I have been putting up.

Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean, they are semi-transparent.

Every path I look at, the activation is a big blue block that covers up everything. No transparency whatsoever.

I can't be the only one...

Thanks.

This is what I want to be the next thing added...however, theres been so much public outcry for RB support...I'm getting so close to converting the RB images...plus I'm waiting on ajanata to send me all the charts, it'd take forever to DL all of them separate. I predict I will have this done before ajanata sends them so during that time I will work on getting the rating system up.

So far, you are. Give me details, what OS/Browser are you using? It sounds like you're using a browser that doesn't support PNG-24 (transparent images).

Okay, first of all, I can tell you're working really hard on this, so thanks. A couple of questions:

(noob question): once I get to the chart I want, I refresh like you said, then click the "blue" button. How do I actually put it on the path? it doesn't do anything if I just click.

Also, when is mac support being added to the make charts section? I'm tired of stealing my brother's laptop.

Don't click the blue button, that shows what color is the current one...when u click make sure the mouse doesnt move during the click.

I will fix this problem, instead of having to click in the exact spot, it'll just recognize when you first click down.

I'm working on three things at once, so its been seeming like I haven't done anything new...its just none of those three things are done and ready. I'm getting closer to converting the create page, but may be a little bit yet. I'm running into a couple road blocks in doing so, taking awhile to find a detour.

I'm still waiting on RB charts too, for those would want to know.
