Okay, I'll be honest, I knew I'd be breaking the billion mark once it updated today (I do believe it updated about an hour after I left for work this morning). However, never in a million years did I think it'd be front page'd and made an announcement like it has been. I've been home two hours now, and I'm still quite gob-smacked about all this.

I'm not sure what to say. I'm touched by a lot of the words in this thread. Honestly, a lot of what I've done for this site has never been for me, its been for Scorehero.
Cutoffs (particularly GH3H-360 4*) were just to open up extended ratings for songs (and I do still intend on cleaning up the Metallica pack on expert plus the other two songs that haven't been done, and quite possibly move onto easy and medium, which'll be interesting to say the least...). Heck, it even opens up the doors for people wanting easy contribution points because at least we'd have deduced figures on a lot of DLCs

Donations... I honestly couldn't tell you why I kept donating... the first donation was to get the image, the second was to kick start the hugely successful donation drive from a couple of years back, and the last one was just because SH had hit... I think it was the 250k milestone? Bad memory lulz. Once I'd made the first donation, t'was pretty clear I really had no need for more contribution points personally, so its not like I really had any personal reason to do it. I just did it for the site.

I probably just stated the obvious at the end of the last paragraph, but whatever. I just felt the desire to say all that.

Thanks Scorehero (and I suppose Guitar Hero as well, lol) for providing me with much joy, amusement, happiness, anger, heartbreak, sadness, a bazillion other emotions, friendships and rivalries for the past (almost) 2 years. If anything, this site has given me the drive to succeed (in this case, succeed at Guitar Hero). Grinding away at song after song after song after song until I get the desired result is hopefully something I can carry throughout my life. Yes, I did just turn my almost 2 years at scorehero into some form of meaningful life type thing, and I mean it.

So, that entire post just made me look like a sad sap and made it look like I'm leaving forever! Woo! Go me!

Oh, I have PMed JCirri about this here banner dealy, you may or may not see a new banner under my name soon :o But yeah, thanks JCirri for providing us all with this wonderful site, and thanks to everybody ever. <3 Scorehero.

I have already professed my love for psx in the drunk thread and many times in IRC. It's good to see him getting more recognition for being a general badass at GH - and as you can see he is very kind and charitable from his donations. Those that know him from IRC know just how good of a person he is and how much fun he is to be around even in a mere electronic presence.
