Wait, so they're cheaper if you buy them as singles? Maybe I just don't understand this DLC business, I'm still in the PS2 stone age (despite owning a Wii).

I was going to say the same thing and the only solution I have is that if you buy the whole CD you get the three songs they already released as well otherwise this makes no sense. |

the three best songs are the three in that were previously released.
(get off your) high horse lady has only 73 notes on bass, and has a higher base score on easy than it does on expert....
To Be Where There's Life X Guitar is the worst chart in the history of rhythm games.
If I weren't DLC-whoring for WT I would have avoided this album. I suggest you avoid it if you're on the fence. Just get the 3 from the track pack, all 3 of those are fun. _________________

Ok, so my thoughts on the album:
I have not played Bag It Up, Waiting for the Rapture,(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady, or The Turning on anything yet.
Nothing was really interesting on guitar. I choked on a stupid part on about every song I played. Shock of the Lightning was just chords. Falling Down was boring. I'm Outta Time was the same semi-interesting riff repeated over and over. The Nature of Reality was probably the best. To Be Where There's Life is an awesome song, but it probably is the worst guitar song ever. At the same tie however, it is also unique in a sense. You just have to play it to see what I mean.
Vocals are pretty fun on everything. Soldier On, I'm Outta Time, Shock of the Lightning, Ain't Got Nothin', and all the others were fun to sing, mainly because they're just awesome songs.
Drums are mixed. Shock of the Lightning was quite fun and had a ridiculous drum solo. Falling Down is funner than your average drum song. To Be Where There's Life was funner than it should have been. And I had some fun with Ain't Got Nothin'. Soldier On was quite boring however, as it was just the same thing over and over for nearly 6 minutes.
As for bass, I didn't play any myself, but my friend hopped on for bass while I was on guitar for The Nature of Reality. There were only 96 notes on hard, and he missed two simply out of stupidity. Considering the above poster said (Get Off Your) High Horse Lady has even less, I'd say that bassists need to be careful.
Overall, if you play guitar, you're likely to be disappointed with this album overall (unless the other I didn't play are awesome, which they could be, especially Bag It Up I imagine). If you play drums, there are some fun songs here, and a couple of snoozers. It might be worth taking a chance. For vocals, it's really about if you know the songs. They're all great songs, and great to sing. That goes for the album overall as well. You're best off buying it only if you're familiar with the album already. _________________
