GHII League C - Season 3 - Playoffs: Winner - Desmond!

Thanks Desmond...as rabies said, I definitely didn't expect to get this far, and I still consider myself to definitely not be the second best player. In the last two rounds, I've had the 4th best score (out of 8), and the 3rd best score (out of 4), so I guess I'm just lucky. Well done to thedrips and Hello as well, you guys are awesome, and hope to play you both next season in hard.

Mr. Swiftage Esq. I am very impressed! You've got a tough song though, it was the last song I FC'd on Medium due to the tempo changes in the chorus.

Good luc to Des and Swift this will be an exciting one to watch.

Eh...thanks guys, but I'm not going to be able to. Due to being a lefty (and therefore unable to use select to activate SP), I can't tilt fast enough to use the optimal SP path. I'm doing my best to figure out the next best thing, but as long as Desmond manages to FC the song using the optimal SP path, he's got it in the bag.

That said, I'll post as a high a score as I can, in order to at least limit the damage.

No actually I think it would be cool if Swift won too, but I am not planning on letting that happen. I guess I do have an unfair advantage being able to hit the select button and the whammy bar is quite a bit easier to use. I know there are guys (and probably girls too) out there who can squeeze their little hind ends off by tilting, but I have to use select if I am going for points. Well best of luck buddy, maybe we can have a rematch in a couple weeks on a new difficulty Desmond v. Swiftage II (insert fiery cliche name here) Yeah right, I will be happy to finish in the top half in Hard, my fingers are kinda special ed on the faster parts

Oh and I was kidding Waldo ... Sarcasm can be sooo hard to translate into writing sometimes.

Swift I'm a lefty too... I just started using select for sp about a month ago... it's really helped my score... there's still no real good way to whammy since we always have to take our hands away from the strum bar...

hard here we come...

Yeah, for sure, I'll keep working on it, and hopefully will improve for next season. It's definitely not an unfair advantage being right-handed, as some of the best players (eg, Sottle) are lefties, and they play just fine!

It'll be interesting to see how all of the medium guys do in the hard league, hehe.

I wish I had bigger hands for the select button. XD

Hehe, interesting, as in 'how many thousands will Desmond beat Swift by?'

By the way, the whole midnight deadline thing has successfully confused the hell out of me. I'll just hope Desmond and I both get our scores in on time.

Yeah, if you've got the optimal SP path, you'll have beaten me by around 7000...but nevermind. I'm proud of the fact that I FC'd it, and besides, you've been the man to beat this entire league, and you fully deserve the victory.

And as Desmond, well done to rabies for being profoundly awesome, and to everyone for participating.

Edit: As I put the score in, I saw yours...6000 points, not 7000. Close enough, hehe. That nets me 25th place...my third highest placing overall (though I still haven't got any top 20 scores!).
