GH:M Star Power Paths

Well now that we have some mildly fair vocals, I think that we should discuss paths.

In an attempt to standardize paths, I decided to create my own system. Basicly here is how it works. Let's take the Ace of Spades path -

4/, 4/, 3/, 4/.

4/ is the amount of PHRASES you pick up. There may or may not also be hypes but one must ignore those. You then activate as late as possible on the next phrase/freeform. IIf it happens you activate early on the next phrase, you add (wordyouactivateon) after the number of phrases, or imm(ediately). If you need to activate in a freeform but not as late as possible, please specify how many freeforms and phrases you pick up.

If you guys have any ideas for a new system let me know.

I know no charts are available, so perfection isn't necesary; just post whatever the hell you got.

Evil path by DeusExProcella:
- The end of "By the dead" (Full bar of SP) - ACTIVATE AS LATE AS POSSIBLE! If you don't have 25K at the break you missed the squeeze.
- The end of "To hear you cry" (Almost a full bar of SP) - You'll get 2 phrases under SP.
- The end of "I'll be the last" - You'll get 3 phrases under SP.
- The end of "I'll dig up your body again" - You'll get 3 phrases under SP.
- The end of "You gotta say goodbye" - You'll get 2 phrases under SP.

Should result in 85K.

The Thing That Should Not Be (I'd be 1st if I hadn't choked on the last activation):

1st Activation: Fearless Wretch/Insanity (Activate on Insanity)

2nd Activation: Freestyle

3rd Activation: Fearless Wretch/Insanity (Same as 1st)

4th Activation: Freestyle

5th Activation: Fearless Wretch/Insanity (See a pattern?)

You'll end with exactly enough SP to activate, which is just because there are two phrases after the sp ends. Every odd activation ends exactly with the last word (Rising). And both even activations end just before the next line.

For Whom the Bell Tolls (Not sure on this one, but it doesn't waste anything):

1st Activation: Activate on “Know” (4SP/4Phrases)

2nd Activation: Freestyle (3SP/1FS) You have to activate near the middle or at the beginning of the freestyle for it to end in time.

3rd Activation: Activate on “Sky” (2SP/2Phrases)

4th Activation: Activate as soon as you see the green flash (IMMEDIATE) (3SP/2Phrases)

5th Activation: Freestyle (2SP/1FS)

I'm working on the path for War Ensemble right now. I fucked up the last verse...but if I can FC it again, I think I know the path for the 175k optimal.

8th activation: At this point, when I FC up to here I'm like "HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT DON'T MISS," and then I miss, curse, and forget whatever path I was doing here. So who knows where to activate. Everything is pretty equal spaced and equal length, so just go whenever and you'll be fine.

Tidus, I had that same problem re-FC'ing the song last night. I think having SP running over "descending onto my sights" screwed me up because I had a harder time seeing it. Also, XD! I had no idea you had posted a score 10 minutes ago, I was just searching for the path for 175K at a request. I accidentally stumbled upon 177K, I wasn't intending to get that score at all, haha. The timing on that is hilarious.

Two things to note about my War Ensemble path. 1. This might just go without saying, but you NEED the SP from that "jam" section, or whatever it's called, from before the lyrics kick in, otherwise the path won't work. 2.I stupidly activated kinda early on the last phrase, because I expected it to cover all of the final 4 phrases no problem. In turn, I barely missed getting the final phrase under SP. If you activate late enough on the final activation, 179K might be possible.

179k isn't possible with Brian's path, it just runs out too fast. Also:

On "Be dead fiend from above" you need to activate as late as possible on "above" or you won't get "Descend unto my sights" under SP.

Here's what I've got for No Excuses. My freeform was terrible when I fc'd it with this path, but getting -1 on the last "Every day" line netted me less than 500 from 1st here on SH.

No Excuses by DeusExProcella

This should net you 281k. Optimal perhaps?

Edit: Fixed pathing suckage. I said many times that I suck at pathing.

This path on For Whom The Bell Tolls got me 1st on Scorehero.

EDIT:I believe this is the correct path for Ace of Spades. It got me 83,000, which I'm pretty sure is optimal.

DOUBLE EDIT: Here's Beautiful Mourning too. Gets 141K, which I'm hoping is optimal(it's 1st at the moment, anyway).

Also, tidus, your path for The Shortest Straw is missing an activation. After the 3rd activation, the missing activation goes: 2 - "Pulled for you," then the path goes on as written. I got 281K, so add this activation in after the 3rd one, and THEN it's correct.

Also, all of the paths have every activation activating as late as possible.
