Saw Gravity recently. Some of the Sandra Bullock soliloquies were awkward, but otherwise everything else was quite amazing. |

For the first time since Tron Legacy, I went to see a movie in the theater.
Ender's Game was amazing, I fully recommend it. For as big as the book was, they shortened it to a 2 hour movie, very well. _________________

That and Wolf of Wall Street are my top two movies to see this month, it makes me super sad though that Inside Llewyn Davis is doing pretty poorly in the box office. _________________

Well, it's only out in limited theaters right now. It'll be officially out for wide release December 20th. _________________

I watched "2 Guns" on DVD recently and I would definitely recommend that to people. It's an action film but I Mark Wahlberg has some funny lines in it... thoroughly entertaining!
Also, on Wednesday, I went to see "Noah" at the cinema. It's quite a long film (over 2 hours) and I know some people are giving it bad reviews, but I actually enjoyed it. Little odd that they make Noah out to seem a bit evil, but I would still recommend it. _________________

I saw the Blair Witch Project for the first time, and it has not aged well. The only thing that made it scary when it was released was the ambiguity of its authenticity. Nobody knew whether or not the story and footage were real, and since the internet still wasn't widely used the truth didn't reach a massive amount of the audience until later. Must have been a cool experience to watch it in theaters believing that it all actually happened. But other than that aspect, it was not scary at all. Just slow moving. _________________

I don't know if anyone ever really believed it was real. Even when it came out most of the reactions to the movie I experienced were joking impressions. |

It was one of the earliest "found footage" films ever made. I'm sure plenty of younger folks believed it was real for at least a little while. _________________

I was much less, but I suppose my dad's immaturity and bluntness with sarcasm really helped me out. |
