Yeah, it's been 3 months since the last update. I'm not sure if FishEater is around anymore. But oh well, SH never reached 500k members, and with the franchise dead, I don't think it will happen. Ever

He still exists, I was talking to him in bannerhero only a few hours ago. I'd ask him about it now except he's probably asleep.

What's this about "the franchise"? Rock Band is still going and and GH can still be played (and will get a bit more DLC), it's not like SH was ever gonna disappear without new GH games.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Rock Band doesn't bring nearly as many members to the site as Guitar Hero. Maybe it's just because we compare everything to the boom in user signups due to GHIII, but it seems as though no RB game has caused nearly the growth of the big GH games. Or maybe it was just GHIII, because nothing (as far as I know) compares to that game in terms of how much growth it caused. I know the overall growth of this site has stagnated in general, though, despite RB3 and GHWoR, so it's hard to imagine that RB4 will create another huge swell of new users unless it has some absolutely incredible new feature. Given that RB3 brought in Pro instruments and it didn't do anything of that sort, I'm tempted to guess that the same will remain true for future games.

Well, according to Fish you need to have access to the script that collects the data. Only Fish and rkcr have access to it, so unless you're suddenly a former moderator, you literally can't do the update. >__>
