Where does Neversoft come up with this stuff?

Good question. I think they just draw randomly out of a hat, because the DLC is always full of groups that noone has ever heard of....

Epitaph and Victory records are two of the biggest labels for indie/hardcore music. These are bands that tons of people have heard of.

THANK YOU! ...although, Victory has the rights to songs by 15-20 bands better than any of these. I like The Sleeping and think that ADTR is alright... but Silverstein has always been lame. Where's some fucking Between The Buried & Me DLC on Guitar Hero?

I'll still be picking up this whole pack tomorrow (when I get paid) despite my distate for Silverstein... I'm listening to NJ Legion Iced Tea right now, and I'm super excited to rock this song behind the kit in the 'morrow.

The Iced Tea song is pretty awesome. Never heard of that band before, so this is a pleasant surprise

also if they only put in bands that are well known, then they would be selling out in my opinion.

they should be putting in bands no one has heard of all the time, because that's how these bands that are very talented can get well known and bring good music to the music community.

Word. Part of what made the first two GHs so awesome (GH2 in particular) was the rarities in the bonus tracks. Less Talk More Rokk FTW. Compare GH3, where we got stuff like Ruby and She Bangs The Drums, both of which are extremely well known in the UK at least... it just didn't work.

...why?

track packs are usually announced about 3-4 weeks in advance. if there ever will be an MJ pack (god, I hope not), you'll hear about it before it's released.

I've heard of ADTR before, they're easily one of the best punk bands out there because of their hardcore influences. That's just an opinion sorry if you don't agree.

But I would like to see some slightly more mainstream music put in...or just Protest The Hero.

Look at it this way: if there was more Green Day DLC they wouldn't feel the need to make a WHOLE GAME about them.

Can you put 32nd notes in your custom songs on World Tour? I can't.

Sorry -- that was a very mild joke about the Jacksons' Victory Tour (which happened before many who frequent this site were born).

I've never heard of Victory, and I do not live in a cave.

Point disproven.

First off, Victory records doesn't really have Metal.

Secondly, most people around here try to stay away from Emo and Hardcore so that's why they haven't heard of Victory.

Anyways, Victory used to have the good ol' Atreyu and I used to like Silverstein way back when. So this pack is interesting enough.
