I have been tinkering with it for a long time, and heres what I have been able to gather about it. I have also put it neatly into sections. Here we go!

----------------------

Minimum Requirements (by testing, not Aspyr's)

Core2Duo (Pentium 4 is a little buggy)
2GB RAM for XP, 3Gb RAM for Vista/WIN7
Nvidia 7600 or ATI equivelant
A GOOD Sound Card (older ones are having issues with skippy or scratchy sound)

----------------------

Configuration:

Keyboard:
Code:
http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=96169
Thanks to BahamutxD for this information!

----------------------

Hacks:

Black Background Tool:
Code:
http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=96328
Thanks to HunterXyron1134 for this tool!

NOTE: THIS TOOL IS IN BETA STAGES! THE CREATOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS IF YOU USE THIS TOOL!

----------------------

Customs:

By tinkering a bit, I found that it uses the same scheme as Guitar Hero III for handling the setlist, and same format for audio/notes. It also seems that it has the same format as the other world tours for how the audio/notes is coded. Only thing left to do is find the encryption key, and a tool will be here soon for those.

It also seems theres some bits of code for DLC! So lets get our hopes up that this will be available on release.

-----------------------

On a side note, I am currently working on a way to play online until release day. I pinged the servers that its supposed to connect to, and it seems that they already have servers ready for this game. Now all I gotta do it find out a key or another way of creating an account.

If there is any information you would like to add or any incorrect information, please post it. I will add it to the post and add your name as credit.

------------------------

As of yet, with my research, I cannot find a way of getting customs to work. Maybe someone else on the forums will have better luck. I tried to inject a wii DLC song, and it appeared to play the music for it when I hovered over the song in the list. But it immediatly froze when I selected it (not even the loading menu came up)

Xbox360 GH2 guitar works, but mine misses some notes when they are played (it does this only in WT, in GH3 it works fine). I don't know if it's the guitar or the game..

Thats the guitar that comes with GH3 for pc? If so its the game because it works perfectly on mine. So that controller should be working:)

Thanks for the extra information, I added it into the post, and put credit where its due. I decided to add Rock Band 2 drums as NOT WORKING due to the fact that its incorrectly reading them.

360 Guitar Hero III Guitar - UNKNOWN

Works.

EDIT: Tonight i'll test the ION Drums, I just hope someone writes a mod to allow 5 lanes with them

EDIT2: I have found that there are some noises that are horribly ported. They sound like horribly down-sampled ones. One of those sounds is the next sound when you finish a song in career

LOL at the sounds. I dont have a working drum set (my 360 WT are the only ones I have, and I dont have a wireless adapter) so I didnt know this information. I have to see this on my own.

*breaks out keyboard and plays drums*

Ion drums work as if they are on an unpatched Xbox 360 version. As in, you get 5 lanes, and you can only hit 4. The cymbals hit two notes (orange and yellow, and orange and green)

Soo, not working till the patch is made for PC.

Thanks for the info. But couldnt you just remove the cymbals, and use them as regular 360 rockband drums? Sorry, I dont know how the ION kit works, never seen one.

Rock Band 1 Drums for Wii (USB) are not working. in windows it shows up correctly as a controller but in-game they won't be recognized.
But you can use Xpadder to map them to keys.

I thought all the wii controllers were wireless lol. I will add them to the list. As for the xpadder, when using the keyboard, it gives you 4 lanes. I would suggest using that.
