Woo. This thread is causing me to progress so fast because I just want to update it! I don't think I've ever done this many accomplishments in such a short period of time

good job! gh2 is very hard to FC.
I get so frustrated FCing songs because I always miss just one note, I had 2 -1 freya runs in the past two days.
Good job and good luck with your goals.

Thanks for the comment. I'm really pushing myself for this thread still =D. I'm hoping to be in the top 500 by the end of the day (I was at mid 700 at the star of the day, and now I'm at 694 after only a handful of song updates)

Bumped due to the fact I randomly FC'd Killing In The Name! I totally didn't expect it to happen!

Only got 321st with it.. I kinda expected better... But I didn't follow an optimal path or anything...

EDIT!

RIGHT AFTER I posted my FC of KitT.. I went and played Madhouse and got the FC for the first time on my FIRST TRY! This has got to be my most epic FC.. And while it's not considered a hard song to FC... I'm very proud of it!

You should give yourself more credit, you've got some good FC's and once you're doing redoing all your songs you'll definitely be top 500, and more like top 300. With the FC's you've already got I can tell you're better than me, and I think I could sneak into the top 300 with just a few reduxes. Keep up the good work!

Well, I just got to update my H18.. Went from 366k to 383k. Almost 400k! I can tell I'll get it ( I was a bit doubtful at first).

And thanks for the comment dude. I probably should take a bit more pride in some things.. But eh.. I know it sounds cliched, and it'll likely never ever happen.. But I really want to become one of the better players around SH. I'm currently (after H18 update) ranked 628.. That's almost 40 rank jumps with just four songs (which I think is okay at this part of the leaderboards).

My big goal is to make it into the top 100. I know it sounds a bit out there.. But if you look at the scores.. A large portion of them haven't been updated in an entire year! (give or take a month or two).

And I'm not doing it yet because I think it's kind of lame... But once I get them all updated, I'll start using optimal paths. I'm pretty glad, I have to admit, to have some songs in the lower hundred rankings WITHOUT looking at the optimal path (but I'd bet some songs are very close to optimal). I think once I do this... It'll help a lot.

But really. I don't like the idea of everyone being able to just get on and find the best possible path. I think pathing is a huge part of the competition, and well, I would rather we all have to chart it ourselves.. But eh, I guess I'll have to get with it.

Again, much appreciation for your comment =)

Believe me, working with optimal paths is worth it. It only takes about 2 or 3 playthroughs to memorize them, and your score will thank you for it.

Good job on less talk by the way.

Nice one. That's just one of those songs that is way more of a pain in the ass to FC then it should be. It took me soooo long to get.

And I still don't have LTMR, so I envy you on that one.

Prayer of the Refugee was always a bitch to me, I hate those awkward chord changes. Keep going, I'm positive you can make top 300!

It was odd because like.. I was pretty bad at Prayer of Ref. for a while.. But out of nowhere one day I just picked it up and didn't have any problems with it. Same for Minus Celsius. Same for Before I Forget, too... I can hit the bridge about every time, but I've choked three times now (all in a row >.>) on the final part, which bugs me because it's not that hard. I'll go pick it up sometime, not really worried about it at the moment though..

But yeah.. Bump too, because I did a massive update/change to OP.

Yay for 50th GH5 FC! Came faster than I had expected. About to update a chunk of my scores, and then I'll try to get some more. Will make 150 total soon =D

If anybody has some suggestions, I'd like to hear
