Wheee! Updates!
FGFC #161: Guitar Hero Metallica EVox
Yknow, I love No Excuses and all, but it has the weirdest placement of the bars I've ever seen. Same kinda goes with FFWF <_<. In any case, I've kinda gone on this policy of FGFCing new games on Easy before I try doing the other difficulties, just to unlock everything non-instrumental.

So, yay, I have drums now? Well, cool, I guess.
Oh, and I got an XDrums FC on GH. So I have an FC on every instrument, difficulty, and series.

So, I'm going to re-FC NEM to get a pic, and then it's on to Medium for now. It's gonna be awhile before Hard comes back into the picture as there's over 52mil to surpass (and Easy will most likely not come up for a long while as Expert has no 110K-plus spreads until the top 5), but I guess trading Expert and Medium for awhile won't be too bad.

Less of an actual update and instead just me putting in scores from BH E and MVox that I never got around to. I do still have VH and GHM scores to put in, I think, and I might. Probly should've yesterday, but eh.
Don't count this as a guarantee I'm back, though! It's just a temporary thing! That being said, I think I will also need/want to do a slight revamp of the OP and try to outline my plans for the rest of my GH career, because as cool as GHL/RB4 (wtf is GHTV?) coming out is, I'm not holding hope that GH or RB are truly back until we get well-recieved sequels, so I'm placing my retirement somewhere before 2020. I also need to get my FCs counted out, too. Sometime...
As a cursory thing, only BH ranked up at all, so yeah.

Also, I really, really doubt GH/RB will last another decade. Not like DDR. I may be wrong, but...
EDIT: Even if it won't, I've still accepted that I'm not going to be like Undead and FC all the super-hard Expert songs. Maybe half of all the Expert songs, but not all (excluding Drums, anyways). I can probably hope to match drama in FC counts, but that's about it. And I suppose score-wise, but eh.

There was at least one place I was passed on instead of advancing, that one being easy. Thanks to arvain, now I can actually go to work on Easy a bit instead of waiting for everything else to get over 100 million points before the next rank.
There were also a couple of times where I thought I ranked up and didn't, either because I apparently misjudged the points or because someone did just a bit more before the update hit. Phooey.
So, the order of things would normally be Blitz, LRB, RB3, then Metallica as far as games go because that's how they're ordered on my spreadsheet. However, LRB already has EDrums FGFC'd, so I'm gonna have to skip that and go to RB3 for a bit until Easy's got about 300k-1mil into it, and then I'll switch to Expert. If I'm lucky I may get to GH5 and The Beatles by the end of the week, which'll be my last update until probably the summer. Wish me luck!

Phew, that's a lot of stuff. But I do at least want my spreadsheet to be accurate for when I come back.
I'm not overly happy with the results (I wanted to get to GH5 before the end of the week, but I am at least satisfied with what I got done. And I got a FGFC out of it, so that's a plus.
On the opposite side...my blue pad is falling off on my drumkit. I know on the drum hardware guid there's a fix that suggests I make cuts into it and tape it to the hard plastic but I really don't want to do that. I may instead try and re-tape and re-seal it under the gray rim (and maybe stick some glue or spray-on adhesive on it too for good measure), but I don't want to ruin the pad if I can help it. It also didn't help that the pad was falling off while going for the FGFC instead of after, but I was thankfully able to get it.
Speaking of that FGFC, I'm honestly surprised I essentially have a quick track to a FGX-Plat 1st (it wasn't a contest on PS3 because there were only two people with any scores inserted). I'm at least 60K above arvain, and while I figure that drums isn't as squeezed as the other instruments I guess I still expected to be 3rd or 2nd.
But, as a sidenote, I will most likely not go for pictures unless I absolutely must do so because the score is reported (and even then it'll have to wait until the next time I get to play again). I may very well go for the X-Plat 1st for kicks, but that's still in the air.
But yeah, that's it for these weeks. I should get to work on counting up my FCs at some point, and will try (emphasis!). I can also review what my other goals are, as well as what FGFCs I can do (I still expect I can get 200 FGFCs before I'm finally done). I'd also like to maybe go over my plans and goals for games beyond the plastar (games on PS2, PS3, Steam, etc.) though idk if I'll do that there or some other thread (or maybe make a blog or something, maybe?), but that'll be not in this post.

I don't really know. I just wanted a good FC to say "Hey, I'm back" with, and my fretting arm was a bit too rusty for Psychosocial (though it's definitely doable). Pretty positive that if I really went at it I could get at least 60/93, maaaaaaybe 70. Maybe. Don't remember all the charts.
This was really only a one-off thing, though, as I'm gonna stick to my spreadsheet for the most part now.
