Since ScoreHero doesn't have the wiki set up for GH5 paths yet, here's a thread to post your GH5 vocal paths.

The first one I have is for Kryptonite, which has a slightly tricky early activation. Here's my path:
2-2-2-2
The first activation is on the word "still" (this will vary depending on exactly how much star power you get). Basically, you want SP to run out before the short SP phrase.
The next two activations are towards the end of the next phrase after you get SP, but you don't need to squeeze them.
For the last activation, wait a phrase because you can get the last phrase in SP, and it's longer.

I got 1st place with this path, it seems good.

^ re: Kryptonite

That's indeed the correct path. I figured it out several days ago and used it on my video.

I'm so far behind in vocals it's not even funny. I haven't had a free day to really sit down and concentrate on the game since it came out.

That said, I scribbled down a few good paths. When I get home from work, I'll definitely post them here.

Looks like the wiki is up now for GH5.
http://wiki.scorehero.com/Game_GuitarHero5

I added the Kryptonite path (crediting you Icemage) - you were right, our paths are the same.

If you want to add paths on your own, see here:
http://wiki.scorehero.com/HowToAddPaths

Otherwise, I can add paths that are posted here.

I am working on a program to do this. I've now got the midi charts and the program I wrote to read the midi files in is working. The remaining issues are that I haven't cracked the precise formula for how points are awarded based on the lengths of individual notes, and the program that generated the midi files doesn't get the star power right yet (though I'll be able to do that by hand, just will take time).

Depending on real life, I'd say I'll have charts to try for all the songs in a week or 2. If I can't crack the scoring formula, then they might not be precise, but I'd imagine that if I just use the length of each note it should be good enough. If anyone has looked into this and has some ideas, drop me a PM. An example of the strangeness with "Gratitude" (chosen since it is easy to get a near-perfect score on expert) is that the "base score" on expert is something around 5.6-5.8 times the base score on beginner, and the intermediate difficulties aren't integer multiples of each other, nor is the increase linear. Look at the high scores per difficulty for rough examples of this.

Here's one for Under Pressure. Optimal I think?

2/sk1
2/sk3
2/sk1
End with leftover SP

Act. 2 requires full ticks on both star power phrases to work.

Figured one out for "Maiden, Mother and Crone":

Activation 1 - "Walk not down that road, I cannot tell you where it goes"
Activation 2 - "Go before the maiden, fall down to your knees"

The harder thing is actually keeping on pitch throughout the entire song

I heard that the path for "Deadbolt" has been a nightmare to be figured out. While being posted here would take out the feeling of accomplish something insane, I'd recommend it to be done in order to avoid more mental/emotional harms.

I may be wrong though!

Anyway, I came to L.A. to make rock and paths. Don't know if this is the optimal one, but it's the best I could find without wasting SP on short talkies nor having an unused phrase.

3- "I'm burning gas until I feel all right"

That's not the path I used, but in any case, it won't waste SP like it could happen if you activate on the following phrase.

<3 this.

Keep posting the peaths people!

@Tidus, Why are the SP paths so easily exchanged on the RB-side?
P.S It's definatly the optimal one I got 59K while missing a phrase!

What I Got
2/ 1st SP phrase
2/ Use it on the word Cry,
2/ Next Phrase.

21th Century Shizord man.

2- Use it right before you have to sing the second 4 phrases.
2- Next Phrase.

WhyYZ, you could've at least stated what song it is.

But oh well, I posted my "Never Miss a Beat" path in the Wiki and I'll post it here too for reference:

(2) - "What do you want for tea?"
(2) - "Why do you run away?"
(2) - "Never miss a beat, never miss a beat, beat, beat beat"

The first two activations are really tight squeezes. If they work, they SHOULD put you into 95k territory by the end of the song.

I was singing the song and I typed it during the break so I forgot.
It's up now!
