I know...I was in GameCrazy the day it came out.

If I would've had $20 at the time I would've been one happy masochistic camper.

those two extra games they added in on the megaman collection where you have the little street fighter battles were pretty cool. if they had a little more meat to the gameplay, they could have made awesome arcade games

I've actually played those in arcades. I can proudly say that Bass and Protoman make one kickass team.

Especially when you're Bass and you hog all the power-ups.

that always pissed me off because i never payed attention to the powerups until i hit one by mistake. all that time i spent wondering why i took so much time to kill enemies...it was still fun

i always thought that x7 and x8 were awful. i like the fact that you could be Axl or whatever, but i liked the other style of gameplay so much better. they made newer versions of megamn x and the original megamn for PSP, which i have, and currently am working on beating all 100 challenges....

X7 was terrible....X8 wasn't as bad, although I guess I can't talk, since I can beat the game on Hard in an hour or so. Yeah, I tried to speed run it. It was pretty amazing. Up until that volt guy I had no trouble at all.

I owned both at one point sadly. I got way too excited when I saw them in the used games section. But the guy said X8 was the best X since X-4, so I had to buy it. That, and it was only about $10 or so. X7 I got for Christmas.

While still on the topic of complaining about X7, my hand was literally dead after that fight with the onion guy. I accidentally used all of my specialty weapon ammo, so I had to kill him with Axel's main gun.

x7 was bearable, but neither of them came close to the first 4 games in the x series. x2 being the best, of course. HADOKEN!

Lol, I still have a working NES with working cartridges for Megaman 3 and 4.
FTW.

Wasn't there a MegaMan X game on GBC?

I'm not sure which one it was, but that one was HARD. I was sweating at the final boss fight.

i guess nothing "wrong" with being a masochist...per se.

don't you ever get frustrated? or do you constantly like taking a beating? or are you just ridiculously good at the game so you never lose?

that's strange to have me, a sadist, in the same forum as a masochist. this is almost to the point of being inappropriate. i'm gonna stop now. i love megaman.

I'm just an optimist. So I just like looking at the bright side of things, and that usually helps control the anger I should have.

"Oh look, I got all the way to the end of the game off of one life, then died, lost all of my stuff, and the game corrupted. ...Oh well. Could be worse. I could've been in the middle of the final boss fight."

That's pretty much my view on life right there. Stuff just normally bounces right off of me.

did you ever see the megaman cartoon series? some of those episodes were so bad and random that i watch them to this day b/c i know that no matter how bad my day has been, they'll make me laugh. truly a blessing.

i mean, they sucked majorly as far as a cartoon goes, but they were very entertaining in the grand scheme of things
