Hi all. Did you ever move or back up your GH3 installation folder, reinstall windows, try to copy it back, and you get the following error message?

"There was a problem finding or creating one of the game's standard registry entries. Please contact Aspyr customer support."

Well this script should hopefully fix that! Just right click it, select "Run with PowerShell", copy the folder path to where GH3 is, and hit Enter. A registry file named "gh3fix.reg" is generated in the same folder as the script. The script attempts to run this file, and if it fails, it can be manually ran. After the reg info is added, the game will be playable without having to do a full reinstall! This is very useful to backup and restore a fully modded GH3 installation without having to reinstall and set everything back up.

The script can be grabbed from here:

Hopefully it works for everyone! I tested it on 3 computers and it seems to work every time, but there is always the unknowns.

Edit: Updated to v2. Fixed a small oversight setting the "owner" in one of the reg strings.
